What an perspective shift you've given me! I have been so scared for the "mor ing sickness" and throwing up. It's the most miserable thing to me, to vomit. But you talking about how when you'd be hunched over the toilet you'd be praising God because you knew it meant there was a baby growing in you...wow! Such an encouraging thought and way to get through a less than enjoyable moment. Thank you for sharing your experience in pregnancy!
Would love to hear from you and/or Aiden about how you financially prepared for a baby & what financial changes you will make to set your child up for long term financial success😊💕
Yes keep your options open for child birth. People say I’m not doing this or that and then child birth is not what they expect. I went into my birth with an open mind and I am happy with how everything went.
I had ideas about how I wanted things to go, and almost everything I thought I didn't want I ended up having (epidural, episiotomy etc.). And while things didn't go the way I would have preferred, at the end I was just grateful my son got here safely. Things happened the way they needed to, and that was ok. God really provided and I'm grateful for that.
I agree that cash knows!! My cat is my shadow, and he randomly started coming to lie on or next to my belly the week I found out. I have a photo of him doing it and it’s so special to me, I cry happy tears when I look back on it!!
You’re going to be such a good mama! I had 2 unmedicated hospital births- very positive experiences and a birth doula was so helpful not just for me but also for my husband. Wishing you the best throughout this new chapter. ❤️
It makes me so happy to hear someone have long long cycles. I got my Mirena out in sept/oct 2023 and we haven’t truly tried til this last month and I’m officially 5 weeks 1 day today!! It feels like I’m way further along bc I found out on Aug 18, my LMP was July 25. So barely 3 weeks probably for me. But it’s been so hard to track bc the long cycles. The only thing I’ve done all day to pass the time for 11 days now is lay around and watch pregnancy videos. This is my third baby. I shouldn’t be this giddy but I cannot stop thinking about this baby!!!
So happy for you and your husband! Thanks for sharing I’m 24 weeks pregnant with my baby girl and listening to you share so openly about your pregnancy makes me feel so much joy and comfort.
I loved it when you said you’re not looking to have anyone sway your decision making! You will make the decisions you need to make for you and no matter what they look like they’re the right ones! ❤❤
ALL THE BABY CONTENT PLEASE!! Please do not feel like you will turn us away by sharing this a lot but CMON this is a HUGE part of your life and i have been watching you since college and have had my own baby! So im SO over the moon bestie😢😊
Soo very happy for you 💗 I’ll be 28 this year and having my third (November 24).) Definitely one of the best things us watching your husband become a daddy 🥹 so thrilled to watch you on this journey 🫶🏻
thank you so much for sharing! your perspective is such a good reminder and if i'm lucky enough to get pregnant one day, i will be rewatching for sure :)
My sister used Midwives in Dallas and had a hospital birth and she had the most amazing experience! Whatever you choose to do is what is right for you!
I had my first baby when I was 25! Just had my second at 28 ❤And I also had a midwife in the hospital and it was an amazing combo experience of having the hospital medical "treatment" while having the more holistic care. First baby was born with no interventions and second baby born with laughing gas! Congrats!!
Been waiting for this video! Im so happy for the both of you. I would love to see the reactions of your friends and families, I think it's just so genuine and exciting! Looking forward to all the baby videos!
With water, i had a bad aversion to it as well. what helped was switching over to distilled re-mineralized water (get in baby section) and drinking mineral water as well!
Yes even if they are sporadic I always love pregnancy reveal videos to friends and families, I feel sooo emotional when watching those and kinda participating with them to the announcement, but from a distance
Michelle enjoy your pregnancy!! I know it’s so easy to have anxiety but if your ultrasounds look fine then don’t worry about anything else. I wasted so much time being worried. I still can’t with candles even after birth! I got rid of every single one of them, it’s best for baby anyway.
I've been waiting for this video after you posted your last video and talked about posting this. I was really happy and shocked when I saw the Instagram post and I am so happy for your growing family 💓😍.
Congratulations🦋✨ I have 2 girls and I felt deep down they were both girls before we knew for sure! One thing that made me feel really grateful for finding out the gender in advance was how much closer I felt to each of them after finding out 💜 Sending you beautiful blessings!😚✨
9 weeks pregnant now! my pregnancy symptoms are soooo similar to yours, the timeline too! boobs, fragrance aversion, morning nausea and vomiting, fruit craving…all the things!! i feel validated! i also try to think positive thoughts whenever i vomit bc i know it’s a sign of healthy pregnancy!
Thank you so much for the tip on the lemon water! I’m 6 weeks pregnant and I literally thought it was my ice that had a bad taste to it. Turns out I have that metallic taste right now and the lemon juice cured it so I can drink more water! 🙌
Congrats!!!! The pregnancy exhaustion is no joke! I struggle with sleep too and unfortunately I’ve had 2 miscarriages, but with both, I slept so much better in the first few weeks! Lots of naps! So happy for y’all 🤍🤍
Hi Michelle good morning happy Saturday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I'm proud of you and I just wanted to say that you are grateful
All that matters in the end when baby comes is following your instincts. Listen to your intuition and not people telling you to sleep train, feed on a specific schedule, that baby has to sleep away from you, and that babies sleep through the night at 3 months. These are all untrue and baby dependent. A great podcast is Let’s Sleep on it: reclaiming parenthood
Omg… the fatigue. That was my WORST symptom of the first trimester. I had nausea like week 6/7- week 11/12. And then headaches at week 14-16 if I had really salty food! Second trimester was crazy cravings otherwise. I waited until week 8 for that first ultrasound… so much anxiety!
@@michellereedg to be honest I didn’t have anything weird. But anything that I craved before pregnancy tripled. I was never a sweets person but I crave chocolate more during pregnancy. I had a fruit punch craving and haven’t had that in over a decade so that was odd.
That’s a whole lotta books! I never babysat & didn’t really have experience so I wished I learned more about the after having a baby. 😂 You can plan birth all you want, but Baby has a different plan. Just like in babyhood, toddler etc… Mine was breech and never turned so planned C-section for me. My baby son is about to be 17. 😊❤
We're due 2 days apart! I'm due 11/13 with a boy. And go you having finished all those books.. I was reading like crazy the first few weeks and have been too exhausted to read hardly anything since haha. Hoping my energy comes back soon!
I would highly recommend Acre Homestead for videos about baby prep, birth plans, and postpartum. (Trigger warning: Becky had a traumatic birth experience). She noticed how few videos were available for postpartum when she was pregnant last year, and she decided to share her experience. 🥰
Congratulations mama! I’m due 10/11 a month before you ❤. Super happy for your journey. I do have a feeling baby is a boy but looking forward to riding along with your journey of motherhood 🫂
Congrats michelle🫶🏻 really happy for you. i hope my time will come soon too. Ttc for about 5 years now but god knows when is the better time right? Hehe Btw Love all your vlogs❤️
Week 6 and the bloat is SO uncomfortable, almost painful at times. Literally had to leave work early yesterday because of the bloating, really need to find something to help relieve that! I eat a ton of fiber and drink lots of water, so I’m at a loss
Just remmeber to hit your 175 grams of carbs daily as well for healthy neural tube development! Try to get them from more nutrient sources! My endo and dietician say eggs and avocados are also super important too! I also take an additional DHA supplement
For anyone out there currently pregnant when reading this comment with water aversions.. Fiji water is the only water that I can drink and have been able to drink for the past 17 weeks. I recommend giving it a try.
You don’t have to worry about reading books on how to RAISE your baby. Children get their cues from parents no matter what parenting style they do!! It’s so natural for children to shape from their parents. Having said that, you’re child will be special because you are so special!😊 Oh and BTW, many videos back, when you said that Cash didn’t need another dog in his life, I knew right then that a baby must be OTW! 😉
Hey! Michelle you are my favourite youtuber and love your vlogs so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 500K Subscribers very very soon!☺️✨💞
The pregnancy glow is soooo evident & this all makes my heart so happy 🥹🌼☀️

PS Green apples are good for nausea! A lot of people eat them on a cruise for motion sickness. Also ginger.
I’m due 11/26! I found out in March too! I also wanted to start “trying” at 25 and I’ll be 25 in October lol.

Most NIPT companies offer a self-pay option that is cheaper than going through insurance. Normally about $250-$350
