  • I LOVE planning trips. It's my happy place and I like to think, after all these years, that I'm pretty good at it. But it's definitely a skill I've learned through lots of trial and error!
I know not everyone enjoys road trip planning and it's easy to feel overwhelmed, so I thought I'd share some of my favourite tips to help you get the most out of your next trip (and all the ones after that!)

Hiya Kat,👋 great minds think alike. I did my first ever road trip in "Kermit" to Eastern Europe last April, solo. Poland, to visit friends then onto Slovakia, Austria, finishing with a week in Germany following the Rhine. My plan was to average around 125 miles per day, with a rest day every 3rd day. This worked well because I spent much longer on a campsite near Bratislava than i intended. (temp 25c) Skipped through Austria (rain and low cloud) try again another year. This gave me longer in Germany, some days only doing 20-30 miles.
    Thank you Kat, great channel.
    Si 👍🐸
