In the video, when Acheron struck down the [End] Blade with her [Origin] Blade, the two Blades are seen destroyed. That means Izumo has entered a state of true Nothingness, a world with no beginning, and no ending.
By then, IX came because Izumo's existence is now meaningless, or as we knew as Nihilistic. However, Acheron wanted to hold on the memories of her once beautiful home, and IX's influence helped created [Naught]
[Naught] A Blade born at the End of Everything, and the Beginning of Nothing.
Edit: There is Itachi in this comment section explained the IX part pretty well so we lore nerds won't bore you with a wall of texts.

This is the way to describe things. Great job.
Counter and correction. Ix doesn’t move with purpose or even pursue things that are Nihilistic. Izumo and Takamagahara had always orbited a black hole (or black ‘sun’). It could’ve either been Ix or it could’ve easily been Ix’s shadow. Both had become a planet of neither end or beginning, and it wasn’t even the blades breaking that caused it. Nothing could’ve prevented what happened, as it was inevitable.
Acheron also doesn’t wish to keep her memories, which is why she only truly ‘remembers’ when the sword is drawn (hence the tears). It’s traumatic, depressing, and reminds her that no matter what she does or hopes to accomplish, it all converges into nothingness.
Ix also doesn’t act with volition, thought, care, or purpose. Thus did not purposefully help Acheron create Naught. The maiden simply survived being in Ix’s shadow, and thus became Acheron by foregoing her ‘life’ to embrace ‘naught’.
TLDR: Ix could care less about anything and didn’t purposefully help Acheron in any way.

@@jonberry7604 Exactly. Ix doesn’t care about anything, thus wouldn’t actively give anyone power (as it serves no purpose and is antithetical to nihilism). Thus Acheron, by being the sole survivor of both Takamagahara and Izumo, was bathed in Ix’s ‘shadow’, and survived. Thus Naught, or null, was born. Which she used to destroy Izumo with a single slash, as no matter what, nothing mattered and it was bound to be destroyed anyways. From the very beginning, nothing they could’ve done mattered, and Acheron understood this.
Basically the story of this trailer is that there are two planets orbiting a black sun, Izumo (Acheron’s home planet) and Takama Divine. At some point Takama Divine sent the Kami to destroy Izumo for some unknown reason and the people of Izumo created the 12 Sentinel blades to fight back against the Kami. After centuries of war against the Kami the 12 Sentinels were destroyed and reforged into the two Bearer blades, Origin (Acheron’s Blade) and End, and Acheron was all that’s left to fight against the End. She defeats it but in turn Origin and End are both destroyed leaving nothing. It's at this point that Acheron realizes that the black sun that Izumo and Takama Divine orbit is actually a black hole and that all the fighting between the two planets was all for nothing because there is no end for them, as both planets are destined to be consumed by the black hole. She realizes that Izumo and Takama Divine had long since stepped into the shadow of the Aeon of the Nihility IX (presumably because the black hole the two planets orbited WAS IX), this realization sets her on the Path of Nihility and she becomes what is known as a Self-Annihilator. Somehow because of this she is presumably able to use some of the Aeon's power to reforge her damaged blade into "Naught", representing the lack of a beginning or end, pure nothingness, pure nihility. Using Naught she tries to attack the black hole (possibly IX). It’s likely that this moment is when she becomes an Emanator of Nihility.

Why is origin and end fighting against each other when they were created to fight against Kami ?
And she used broken origin and some power of Aeon of nihility to form naught and use it to destroy Aeon of nihility the black hole what ? Why would the Aeon of nihility allow her to use his power if he knows that she can use it to destroy him ?
And what does it mean they have long stepped into the shadow of nihility like do both planets pray to the Aeon of nihility like there are people who pray to Aeon of hunt and abundance in HSR .....
@Danielplays_247, As far as i understood, Kami is sort of version of honkai in their world, and honkai slowly corrupts people turning them into mosters(was also shown in this trailer)
So its either End was corrupted so they had to fight, or Izumo needed to concentrate all their powers in one bearer, like herrsher of finality from hi3, so they chose to fight willingly.
IX doesnt actively do anything, he didnt help her consciously, and even if someone were to attack him he probably wouldnt respond or try to prevent that, cuz its contrary to the concept of nihility. He is basically a black hole which only exists and doesnt do anything else.
Also i dont believe she could scratch him even with all their blades combined, Aeons are simply on a different level. So while she does strike against IX at the end, it is ultimately meaningless.
And the last part is just a coincidence - their planets were orbiting black hole, possibly IX, from the beginning, they didnt follow his path or anything. And since black hole has strong gravitational pull, planets were always meant to be destroyed at the end. They were just unlucky to exist near it, thats all. I think thats why Acheron became self anihilator in the end, she understood that all their fighting, all their sacrifices were ulimately meaningless because of IX.
Im pretty sure the other planet isn't Takama Divine bur rather just another realm example like heaven.

After losing her entire star system to the black hole she fully embraced the path of Nihility represented by the final blade (naught // zero// nothingness). IX somehow empowered Acheron as it's Emanator.
Now she's literally feeding her foes to the black hole that's already taken everything from her.
Additionally she changes form in her Ult, likely being overcome by the will of IX, herrscher/HI3 style.
Maybe that's why she has memory issues: because in her white-haired state she's more IX than whatever is left of her...
I like this comment. It focused on HSR and theorycrafts/explains Acheron instead of splurging in on hi3rd lore references and turning this HSR video into hi3rd video.
She forgets her memories because she's a type of emanator for IX, a self annihilator. One who forgets their memories. There was a hoyolab post discussing emanators, Acheron could've had it worse because self annihilators can suffer worse fates
She didn’t accept IX, she is literally slashing towards it at the end. She also didn’t want to forget her home memories, that’s how Naught sword get created. In the lore she only remember her homeland painful memories when she enter this state. This is written in her official bio that published by HoYoverse.

I would go as far as to say that black hole _is_ IX (IIRC in the trailer description it says the two planets were circling IX). That's why the "end was a lie," as both worlds were doomed. It's like a mirror of HI3, but if Mei didn't meet Kiana, and then the presence of IX. The creation of "naught" ("mu" in Japanese, meaning nothingness in the Zen sense) represents the dissolution of duality and her rise to emanator, unification with the Aeon who compelled the two worlds to destroy each other passively just by existing nearby.
One random note I don't think was mentioned was that the 70k+ blades forged were not significant in them being crafted but by each having a wielder. It was 70k+ sacrifices to finally get those 12 sword that freed them.
(Incoming HI3 nerd) This is Basically All 14 Herrschers but Sword. HOLY SHIT DUDE LMAOOOOO LET"S GO!!!! The male voice speaking to Acheron in the Trailer has to be a variant of Kevin Kaslana who I've attributed as One of the Main Villains of HI3. (Some people think he's not but his ends don't justify the means).

My theory is Acheron is the 'Mei' who had been robbed of everything (lost her loved ones hence she became nihility) and the 'Mei' of HI3 whose also the Herscherr of Origin is the one who saved everyone.

in HSR we have legit a Mei that never had a Kiana in her life and the events of Archeron's world unfold much the same as the Honkai eruption but with out Kiana ever being born there as the END is Kevin in this trailer

It really depends if this Izumo past events represent the HI3rd 3rd eruption era or the 1st and 2nd eruption that was supposed to be 50k years prior to the events in I3rd and the more I'm watching the trailer the more I'm thinking its the 1st and 2nd Era the one of the first 5 Herrschers and the Flame chasers 2nd era those 12 swords where the only Kaslana in that era was Kevin. And lore wise him and Mei where lovers so there's that. There was no K423(Kiana) witch is the 3rd Irruption era and she is a direct descendant to Kevins blood line clone of a sustain character i don't really want to spoil too much into that was made by Ottos experimentation in an attempt to control the 3rd eras Herrscher cores before awakening into full herrschers. That big sword the End that broke with Mei's Origin was Kevin probably after being consumed by the Oni power so Mei(Archeron) had to well kill him. And the Nule sword from her blood tear the way i see it Mei poured all of her sorrow and rage from losing all her comrades, friends, her world, as well as her final love she poured of that raw emotion into that final slash that represents the Finality or Nihility in HSR world and its very showing the way Archeron is most of the time emotionally drained relaxed just not wanting to deal with that void of loss in herself.
@@kvN1005 Well...Kiana is supposed to be a scientist in HSR universe so I doubt they are even from the same world this time ? Unless the devs are bitches and voluntarily said that in a way that wouldn't necesarly mean she'll be playable because she died with Acheron's world....
Each blade is a herrscher and even the way they appeared in HI3 super dope.
All I can sorta pick up is that this is what happened to alternate world Dr. Mei and she became a warrior instead. I just wanna know what happened to her Kevin who happens to be the male Japanese VA in this trailer.

The parallel with HI3 elements is insane - the sound used, the order and power of the blades, the origin and end, and the horns.
She's basically a Herrscher with IX's blessing. Pretty cracked, Ifrit is so unlucky to encounter her.
Honestly that’s the most TLDR way to explain it, though she may not even be a Herrscher and was just wielding the Divine Keys instead. Either way, Herrscher or not, the power of 12 Keys combined is Kianas Finality level of nuts, or even crazier depending on her entire story.

I saw a video about it. 2 worls fighting for eachother for existense. However it appeared that the worlds circled around a black hole. So all the fighting was for naught. This is how she became the nihility emanator. The black hole could have been the nihility aeon.

It represents the 12 Divine Keys created from the 12 Herrscher cores after they were defeated just to clarify. Humanity made the Keys as weapons against the Honkai during the previous era
For Smack and anyone else curios, here is the breakdown.
There were two planets whos sun turned into a black hole. Izumo, where Acheron is from, got invaded by the other planet. In order to fight them off they forged 12 blades whos powers mirror that of the herrchers from HI3. Either from using the blades or from fighting the invaders they were slowly corrupted, losing their humanity and becoming Oni, which is why they have horns. They won and broke the blades in an effort to stop the corruption, but it continued. The humans and oni then started fighting, each side forging a blade from the fragments of the twelve, which are also herrscher references. Acheron, realizing that the entire fight was pointless from the beginning as the black hole would soon swallow both planets anyway, decided to embrace the end and destroyed the final swords. This drew the gaze of IX, who made Acheron his emanator, and with a final red tear she forged a new blade and erased the whole solar system. When she cries anything she hits get erased from reality and memory, which is why she doesnt remember the first meeting with the trailblazer and only manages to recall the Duke Inferno incident because she let some of them get away.

Her drawing the gaze of IX and thereby losing her memory, makes so much sense. But how does this aspect of her text being red fit into all of this? What I noticed is that those thoughts are often very dark and nihilistic. So I can only assume that this is the power of "naught" speaking through her?
@@peterpedersen3988 Acheron's dialogue isn't the first time we've seen red text. I think it's just a stylistic choice to highlight or hint at Acheron's background, it doesn't have any significance to the lore.
@@exu7325 Maybe. But I must say, the lore isn't necessarily what makes the artist decide that this is an appropriate way of depicting their characters. I think there is another element to it. And this element is much more connected to the overall atmosphere.
If you look around, you will find another post of mine, which is under this video. And in this post of mine I have tried to highlight the more symbolic, or as I prefer to say: the synesthetic aspects of this trailer. It's quite fascinating, and not necessarily connected to the narrative at all. I think that narrative structure and overall atmosphere is something that might be able to complement each other, but is not necessarily connected. - If there is such a connection, I would, of course, be interested in it.
The memory loss is Just that she a self Annihilator
So here’s my take on the story here, based on this video as well as the eternal rondo video description.
Two planets orbit around a black sun, and the planet izumo was home to the humans. The Kami come from takama divine realm, the other planet, to wreak havoc. The edict edges are formed, and are used to drive back the Kami. However, overuse of the edict edges leads one to become “oni”, which is likely the same corruption that turned the kami into malicious killers. Slowly, humankind falls to the oni corruption, and in the end, Acheron is left to defeat “end”, her close friend whom caelus reminds her of (Kevin kaslana reference). Acheron, on her last legs and suffering from oni corruption (the horns), is able to defeat “end”, and brings the conflict of the Kami to a close. It has cost her everything, though.
But surely it was worth it? No, it wasn’t. For the black sun that the planets orbited around was IX, aeon of nihility, all along. No matter the countless sacrifices, no matter the victories attained, no matter which side emerged at the end of it all… it never actually mattered. They were doomed to be absorbed into nothingness the second they were born into this world. Acheron realizes the nature of the black sun, and only then, she weeps as she realizes… it was truly all for nought.
At this point, she has succumbed to the purest form of the will of Nihility, the idea that life has no meaning, because truly, her life had no meaning. She draws the gaze of IX, and at this point, the blade “naught” is forged, literally meaning “nothingness” and thus embodying the will of Nihility. She fires one strike into the sky… and izumo and takama divine realm are erased from existence. No past, no present, and no future.
Combining this and what the description of eternal rondo said, the only ones who knows what happened to these planets are Acheron, and “the black sun”(IX).
Thus, when her blade is drawn, her hazy memories become clear, and she weeps those same crimson tears from the day she lost everything.

The last blade was naught(nothingness) after killing the end blade or finality blade everything turns to nothing and that is her. And that black hole? Thats the aeon of nihility where it says that if you attack an aeon you either die or become an emenator of it. This is peak reaction smack more power to you my guy.

A couple of things and lore imagination that I took from this trailer:
1. In resisting the Kamigami, humanity will eventually become oni (end). Which indicates their enemies, the "gods", were probably once human as well. So the guy said Takamagahara was surely as beautiful as Izumo before.
2. The fight and struggle of the people in Izumo change nothing of their fate, all they do is repeat the cycle and eventually become another Takamagahara. Which may have happened multiple times already.
3. Until our boy, the Nihility Aeon appears, swallows both worlds at the same time, and terminates the never-ending cycle.
4. Acheron was taken by the Aeon as well, but her willpower to save the homeland is so strong that she refuses to be consumed by the Nihility. So she becomes the final blade/bearer of Izumo and becomes a Nihility Emanator with the cost of forgetting things all the time.
Well i don't think that IS like that,the aeon is already there and the planet is already doomed Just because Ix was there,she became a self Annihilator and embraced the concept of Nihility

A little piece of info, Welt's powers comes from the first Herrscherr in Hi3. The first sentinel if pretty much the Herrscher of Reason(1st Herrscher)
PD: they are a lot of references in the trailer tho but I won't get there cuz it can be understands it without it
This is just my theory but what if Welt , meeting Acheron symbolize as the new beginning of Acheron as Truth is the first sentinal
His cane is the Star of Eden, so he has the remnants of Reason and the 9th Divine Key. Gotta remember that those black holes had nothing to do with Reason and everything to do with Herrscher or Earth/Stars aka Owl
Sidenote if you forgot. Owl gave his life and powers to Ana to save her, turning her from the Herrscher of Ice into the Rimestar

No problem I worded that a little weird. I connected it with Owl but it technically came from the PE 9th Herrscher.
Welt probably can use HoR powers if needed and if he gets dosed with Honkai, he probably will and just thinking of it gets me hyped
Pretty sure the 12 blades refer to the Herrschers in Hi3. Acheron's horns are also a reference to her Herrscher form (Herrscher of Thunder). Honestly can't wait to see where they're goin with this, Honkai lore always gets me hyped.

In the end of the video acheron said 'until the last Blade(life) forged into nought" the last Blade is Basically acharon life... She was the Blade herself.. you know that there is somekind of bodysword state in the murim martial arts? The one body that became the weapon(sword) itself, maybe thats refering to that
And what she mean by "forged into nought" first think first "nought" is other word for null/nihil.. she forged her life into null and became the self-Annihilator the requirement to became the emenator of nihillity

The more you dive into her lore the sadder it becomes. Let's take the original battle within Izumo, fighting for survival for decades, losing friends and family only to later learn that all that fighting was meaningless because the planet you're fighting to protect is bound to be swallowed by the black hole you thought was the sun. Imagining how empty she must have felt at that moment man, that's devastating.

70,033 blades made 12 and those 12 blades made 2 blades, lastly the 2 blades made 1 that remained, so acheron's sword had taken all the power and absorbed the rest to combine into 1, Having a small fragment piece of each power ability into 1 big puzzle that was fused together making what we see in her ability kit of a complete fusion. ( If you think deeply about it then it makes so much sence since I can say how it makes sence if you need proof ( so the 1st blade truth can show that her abilitys have a deep meaning while the 2th sky shows her abilitys clearly as the void in her ultimate and skill same time preventing the sealed away domain relm from escaping the sword witch can also explain why she does not need energy for her ultimate as it's showing that's its a seal tag that we release to use the blade sky ability, 3th howel witch is her thunder abilitys that shows that truth can also punsih those with the power of lightning same time with sky can prevent evil from being released but only in a times necessary, Tho I can go on all day writing this and her sword meaning with full decipher, But lemme know if you want me to fully 100% explain as thst was only 20% of what I explained.
She got all the blades and that's why she can break all the weaknesses.
That ending gives me goose bumps, with what’s happening from the story and the trailer. And how the music worked with it all. 10/10!! Some epic stuff 👏
To sum it up shortly this is exactly HI3 story all the way until origin (Herrscher of Origin) fighting againts End (The herrscher of the end/Finality/authority of finallity)
Kami is Honkai/Will of Honkai
Soverigns (however you write it) are Herrschers
And the swords represent both the Herrschers and the Divine keys.
There are a total of 13 Herrschers before the Herrscher of the end/Finallity
Acheron is based upon Raiden Mei from HI3 (Raiden Ei/shogun in GI is slso based on Raiden Mei)
Just like Raiden Mei Acheron become both the herrscher of Thunder (3rd in the list) and Herrscher of Origin (13th in the list)
The last sword, sword of life we assume represents Acheron's life itself, and because everyone she ever loved and hated died because of a lie as well as IX (the black hole in the sky at the end aka Aeon of Nihillity) started swallowing the 2 worlds into itself thus there will be no tommorow to advsnce to, Acheron deemed her life meaningless- in other words she deemed her life as nothing
At that point IX gazed upon her and she become an Emanator of Nihillity, as IX (Aoen of Nihillity's) path literally just means nothing, nonexistence, 0 etc...
Dude, being out of the loop on HI3 is rough man. 😆 It's awesome how they did this cinematic trailer for Archeron, as it focused on her past, and revealed the reasons why her Path is related to The Nihility. I also love how they got certain JP VAs to voice specific characters in HSR, like Sawashiro Miyuki, who voiced Raiden Shogun in Genshin, Archeron in HSR, and even Raiden Mei from HI3 for ALL the JP VOs. All these little easter eggs give the Hoyo games so much depth in a way, that only dedicated players who care about the Honkai IP would know about. What's even more dope is that the male narrator in the JP version of this trailer actually voices Kevin from HI3, who is a major character in the HI3 universe. I'm super ecstatic to get into the Main Story Quest coming for Version 2.1, and can't wait to see how the Main Story Quest is gonna pan out. The next update is hype as heck! 🔥

It's telling in the CN and JP trailers they used 始 for Origin, 終 for End, and 無 for naught. 無 is not just naught, but also without and can be used as a kanji/character to negate what comes after. There's a saying 無始無終, meaning "No (Without) Beginning or End". As the two weapons (concepts) clashed and it was for naught or nothing. Without a beginning there can be no end, without an ending there is no meaning to a beginning. It illustrates why she forges 無 out of the lie of escaping fate and has become the walking paradox of one without 始 (beginning) and 終 (end).

The story here is about two planets - Izumo(Japan-like homeworld of Acheron) and Takamagahara(world of Kami - gods) - orbiting around black hole(presumably aeon IX itself).
Physical context, if someone don’t know - everything that inside black hole horizon will eventually be swallowed by gravity of black hole. Nothing can leave it - not space ships, not even light. So both planets were originally doomed
Now a bit of revision before final lore piece
At some point in history Kami invade Izumo(because Izumo is further from black hole, presumably), and that’s how the war started. During that war, humanity forged Sentinels to fight against Kami. But in the end, blades were broken and reforge into origin and end. Acheron, last survivor of Izumo civilisation, destroyed both of them.
Now final lore
After that, Acheron realised that war was meaningless, because there was no victory or defeat - everything she knew will eventually be consumed by black hole, no matter what. Both planets, both races. There was no origin, no end. And after Acheron lost all who she loved and cherished, she embraced Nihility (she lost her oni horns because humans were transforming into oni by fighting against future, and at that moment Acheron stopped struggling against fate) by reforging her life into Nought, indirectly becoming emanator of IX(who probably was exactly that black hole, because it makes sense for plot)
Also whole story is a direct parallel towards Honkai Impact 3 - all sentinels(including 70.047 blades, Origin and End, excluding Nought) present as analogy towards herrshers(humans who are “chosen” by Honkai energy to get godlike powers, or inherent those abilities from previous bearer), for example Welt is first one - herrsher of reason, who can create anything by understanding it fully, like black holes or mechs. And yes, Welt from both games is exactly the same person, who traveled between multiverse. Back to the topic - in this scenario best friend of Acheron never existed, which lead to the “bad ending”. Feeew, that’s a long essay…
And because she was In contact with Ix she became an self Annihilator

And that is very understandable, if you take into account that those are the battles, which she has fought before. One demon amongst many is nothing for her. Very good trailer.
imma be real, I almost kind of didnt appreciate the trailer due to the abundance of HI3 reference. It was a bit hard for me to understand whats going on in the trailer but when I read the HI3 explanation it all made sense

Basically, a Honkai Impact 3rd story re-phrased and shortened. Well with some tweaks and a different ending (that's why people called Izumo a "bad end Honkai 3") that are well-fitting to this variant of Raiden Mei.
Someone can corrcet me if I am wrong but, when the sword "Life" was made presumedly from her own life, and then it turned into naught by IX when she realized the war was meaningless, she turned into a emenator. If someone can explain why she slashed the blackhole as I am still stuck on that (also if you want to know what every sword does you can read the descirption of the video)

Izumo is the name of the planet on the new planar set, and Acheron’s story is a retelling of the Herrsher’s story in a samurai inazuma arsthetic…thats so cool! Yes she is a Raiden from another world, destroyed by a black hole…

If you have time some day you should react to HI3 animations, it'd give context to some of the references that appear in star rail (also would be one hell of a vid to watch from a viewer pov). The 12 swords here for example are symbols for the herrschers, the story here is a variant of what happened with the honkai.
In coming Honkai Impact 3rd player (with little Gun Girls Z knowledge) , Acheron trailer has loosely retold HI3 (and GGZ in a way). The 12 Sentinels represents the 12 Herrschers

Now in HI3.... Mei became the Herrscher of Origin due to very long detail lore in HI3 which was an anomaly due to PE... an Herrscher that shouldn't existed had manifested.
Now in GGZ the final Herrscher is called End while HI3 called it Finality (which is the same as both can manipulate time) Kiana became HoFinality and her, Mei and Bronya (HoTruth) worked together. GGZ had a tragic ending.
But here in HSR, they deviated from the reference to add Naught, which is nothing.... IX, the Aeon of Nihility literally does nothing and see no point to anything.
I saw in another video where they said that Izumo was one of two planets orbiting a black hole. Denizens of the other planet invaded Izumo and they created 12 weapons to defend themselves from the invaders( we see the sword of truth skewering a demon and the sword of howl striking down a dragon). But over centuries of battle all the weapons were broken. But they forged another sword to continue fighting even though their world was already ruined. I guess that the two final swords represent the two sides of the war. Izumo eventually struck down the invaders once and for all but both worlds were totally ruined. Then they saw that both worlds were destined to be swallowed up by the black hole right from the beginning making the whole conflict completely meaningless. On seeing this they despaired giving their remaining life to the black hole and in doing so forged the final blade “Naught”. So Naught is the emanator of Nihility forged from the remaining life on the planets together with the inevitable nothingness of the black hole.
Or something like that.
I guess in the trailer when we see Acheron she is a metaphor for the people of Izumo fighting against the invaders. I’m not sure what the actual Acheron is, maybe the last survivor from the war rescued from the ruined Izumo before it was swallowed by the black hole or whether she is literally an entity born out of the remaining life on the two planets fused with IX’s power in the form of the black hole.
You see Truth in the first and i already knew its Honkai Impact 3rd Herrscher powers reference. I googled it up and cross check they seem to be the same.
a lot of lore was in the animated short with BS and acheron, the 2 worlds had a fight. planet1 sent its fighters to save itself from planet2 which came to just kill for no other reason. these 12 sentinels protected world1 but in the end they all ended up dying but for acheron which she then understands she lost everything so winning meant nothing, then her blade forms to naught and acheron lets out the final atk giving her IX powers from self-annihilation

Lore Nerd here working overtime for Honkai 3rd connections/references and very few GGZ/Houkai Gakuen 2 ones (I'll try to avoid Major spoilers but it does include some minor spoilers)
The sentinels are based on the Herrscher authorities from 3rd
The order they appear in are the same as the previous era of 3rd (known eras are previous and current)
The man's voice in JP (and CN too apparently I'm too lazy to fact check) is the same VA as a character from Honkai 3rd called Kevin
"The price of every victory was a world in its entirety" there's a line in the Divine key Manga for 3rd that goes "Humanity paid dearly for every victory" could potentially be a reference since in context it's talking about the war against the Honkai and the Herrschers and it's what was happening in this trailer for Acheron's world and her version of the honkai

Speculation but the Sentinel Root could be a reference to GGZ/Houkai 2's Herrscher of Rock/Earth and how Herrscher of Stars was previously known as Herrscher of Earth before being renamed in the 'Coral Herrscher Research - A Summary' Log in Chapter 19 of 3rd
Don't know if the Blades are Divine Keys or not but in 3rd Herrschers have a core in them and when defeated weapons were made from them called Divine Keys most seen are from the Previous Era
In 3rd Welt is the Herrscher of Reason and can create any weapon or object as long as the user understands it, needs Honkai Energy tho. He can pretty much create anything like tanks and fighter jets but his go to weapon especially in Star Rail is Star of Eden which is a Divine Key made from the core of the PE Herrscher of stars, it's how he creates the black holes.
Random small detail but Void Archives is a Divine Key made from the PE Herrscher of Reason, it can also create weapons but when it comes to the divine keys it can't use their full potential (0th)
If you don't care about Honkai 3rd lore or spoilers but want to see Welt pop off the Second Eruption Manga (BANGER btw) and Alien Space manga are the way to go
Acheron's red horns are a reference to Mei's Herrscher of Thunder form in 3rd
Acheron's broken blade becoming a red one could be a reference to GGZ/Houkai 2's Hokushin Mei's Demon Sword - Crimson Flame (kinda sucks to use ngl but it looks cool), could be reaching tho
Origin and End are introduced around the end of Part 1 of Honkai 3rd I'll try not to mention any major spoilers
Herrscher of the End was introduced in GGZ/Houkai Gakuen 2 Retrospect (essentially first route/ending kind of spoilers so I won't mention anything else) which is like an hour or so into the story and also mentioned a lot early on in the manga for 3rd known as Herrscher of the End, Final Herrscher, as well as Herrscher of Finality all you really need to know is that they are super OP and can delete pretty much any character aside from like Outer Gods who I don't think we'll ever have to mention again if we're only talking about HSR
Don't know much about this last one since I didn't watch or play with both myself to confirm but apparently if you picked Stelle or Caelus as your MC Acheron will remember you as someone she fought alongside or against with being a reference to Kiana (Da real OG Honkai MC) or Kevin respectively
That's pretty much it I don't know much about HSR lore cause I just haven't felt like jumping down into the rabbit hole of reading all that shit but apparently Aeon of Nihility comes and gives Acheron power or something idk feel free to add on to anything else I missed

So Aeons/Celestial beings kept trying to destroy their world and so with the 12 swords/Herchers they defended but eventually everyone met their demise of Izumo took all the fragments and forged Origin and END. Yaoyorozu no Kami = eight million gods, in the description it's written as Yaoyorozu no Magakami, which means Eight Million Calamitous Gods
Sentinels/Bearers = Herrschers
Blades = Life
In the past Izumo (planet) had faced a catastrophe from out of this world known by the inhabitants as the Eight Million Calamitous Gods which took 70,033 lives, from which twelve beings emerged, the Sentinels, each having unique powers Sentinel of Truth (Herrscher of Reason), Sentinel of Sky (Herrscher of Void), Sentinel of Howling (Herrscher of Thunder), Sentinel of Mist (Herrscher of Wind), Sentinel of Frost (Herrscher of Ice), Sentinel of Fate (Herrscher of Rebirth/Death), Sentinel of Flare (Herrscher of flames), Sentinel of Thought (Herrscher of Sentience), Sentinel of Root (Herrscher of Earth/Star), Sentinel of Form (Herrscher of Dominance), Sentinel of Binding (Herrscher of Binding), Sentinel of Maw (Herrscher of Corruption), they were initially successful but eventually they fell, and with their lives two final Bearers, Bearer of Origin (Herrscher of Origin), and Bearer of End (Herrscher of Finality), the two fight for the fate of izumo, one would bring the world to an end, the other would return the world to it's origin, Origin killed the end but as a result she 'died' as well, leaving her with emptiness, becoming 'Naught' (Nihility)
The horns are likely a way to describe a person becoming a killing machine, we can infer that the battle between Acheron and the Yaoyorozu no Kami had been going on for quite awhile, so it's safe to say that she's lived a life of constant killing, with the 'end' dead, so goes her way of life of constant slaughter, she's no longer a killing machine, but a aimless blade, her experiences cling on to her but she will never be able to be the same again
Its cool that in the line they say that "humanity will eventually become oni (End)" is similar to the Darkins in the League of Legends lore, how the shuriman gods fought against the void and eventually became this twisted-looking creatures because of the long war they fought, so eventually the humans in Izumo will become oni or demon-like after fighting all these Kami and using them or whatever they have as blades. Its sad tho but in the end it didnt really matter cause Izumo and the other planet were doomed anyway because they're oribiting a blackhole. Its cool it also references Honkai Impact 3rd too since its their ip and its not that super deep what the references are.

"Blades" can also mean "Warriors", so that many people sacrificed themselves
One thing I thought about after seeing everyone's take that I haven't seen mentioned is that when she created the blade of naught it seems she poured everything into it for one last attempt to strike down her worlds black star. Yet even in that final scream against their fate she knew it was pointless. She became a self-annihilator in that moment by pouring her life into something that she knew would do nothing except bring her end, and that is why she became blessed by the nihility.
Can we all just make Hoyoverse release the Oni Acheron version from the Thumbnail please. Why she looks so much better than what we actually get

I wouldn't say she "megaman"ed her way through all powers, but rather, "Origin" became all that was left with "End", as in they were their own thing.
And then even those two disappeared to become "Naught", nothingness.
Acheron probably doesn't really have the same powers she had as the bearer of "Howl", as in she couldn't make lighting rain. Nor could she make wind or any of the other powers from the 14 swords.
She only has the *nothingess* as a power, with maybe the added fact that she's electric based that might come from her originating powers, but that's it.

From my understanding, she was the last survivor on her world that was being passively swallowed up by the Aeon of Nihility, which is basicaly a living black hole. In the end, the Sentinel powers were meaningless against the Aeon, and after she realized that all the fighting and deaths were for nothing she got in tune with the path of Nihility and IX turned Acheron into an Emanator (mostly by accident), powering up her sword with their Path. She might have survived because of that.
