HD Timelapse: London City Airport Westerly Operations. A 'must watch'

A couple of hours early morning operations compressed into a little over 5 minutes. Very short walk and taxiing distances make this airport the most loved place to fly from in the UK.
Shot using the timelapse camera function on on my HTC Desire HD with Android 4.2.1 Jellybean 'Jellytime' R3
I was just out there a couple weeks ago. Amazed at how busy that little airport is

Great timelapse! you can clearly see how busy the traffic controllers.
At 04:00 mark there was correction on the runway traffic wherein a learjet like plane taxed while there was already a plane at the other end in take off position.

Cool video......really enjoyed it. One thing I noticed was the tail of the City Jet Fokker 50 in the fore ground. Look at it before loading and after. Pretty interesting to see the plane getting loaded and watching the plane get weighed down.

Departing Embraer's cabin wasn't ready so it exited the runway while the backtracker held back. Pretty standard single runway stuff to maximise runway efficiency. Looks worse speeded up!

i'm an Air Traffic Controller and aspiring musician from Ireland.
I've just completed an album-length instrumental electronic piece of music, the theme of which is to do with Flight and Airport activity.
Would it be possible to use some footage from your awesome video on an accompanying video that i would be using
as background during live performances and maybe as part of a compilation on a youtube video?

Atc would be hard to get as is deemed illegal to listen into uk airspace traffic control unfortunately

I think it was the fastest setting, i.e one frame every 0.5 seconds.
it is busy airport in the morning and evening when all planes want to take off and lots to land and its not enouth space to acomodate them all .
Interesting...I've never had to exit a plane without a jet bridge at a US airport, but that seems to be the norm in this case.
All of a sudden an Airbus 380 lands and sends everyone into a frenzy. Ok I was just joking.

Thegamechanger This doesn't make any sense tbh. If you're talking about slow motion you would need a better phone, because this takes good hardware but when your phone is capable of recording 30/60 FPS in a regular video it's also capable of recording a timelaps in 30/60 FPS.
Thegamechanger Well I neither know much about the nexus 4 nor about how he made the timlapse but the way I would do it, when I don't have an app for that, is just record a video and speed it up in post production. This way there shouldn't be any room for undercalculating frame drops.

The majority of people flying from here are business people so that explains that!
