The Radio Chatter is what really sells this to me. One of my favorite sounds in the world is the human voice coming through old tech, or old sounding tech. I don't know why, but that grain, the slight degradation in the quality, the hard sounds and bad catches, the pops and static...It feels more organic, more human to me. That sound feels like nostalgia, but also like the future. We have such clear voice communication now, but it's sterile. There's no heart. This feels warmer to me. Thank you for putting this together.
Reminds me of green gear radios from the marine corps. As good as communication stuff is now those old PRC radios are distinctive in their junk sound quality and beeps. It's funny but the sound is comforting
To me it feels like that moment of being rescued in the last minute thinking I'm ready to give up. A "holy fuck I'm not alone" sensation. Radio chatter is just one of those things that is nice to listen to.
It's always awesome when you're in far away planet, full of dangers alone, but the radio chatter made you know that in bigger picture you're not alone there's many ground squad and other fleet around you even if they're miles away from you
I absolutely love this. It’s not hard to imagine myself scanning the radio chatter whilst waiting in the craggy landscape of a moon or asteroid, for the galactic authorities to pass on. It’s extremely hard for me to fall asleep sometimes and it’s little things like this that pull me through.
There is a movie you might like: "Moon" . Its basically this theme: lone crewmember on a space station, monitoring, controlling surface missions etc. Its a great movie!
It's raining outside so you have to stay inside monitor the computers and drink lots of coffee but you couldn't ask for the best outpost as this as it was created by the best Thank You Selcuk.🤠 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely superb, your channel is a true hidden gem on this site. It has been a secret weapon for beating writer's block for the scifi TTRPG campaign I'm writing for my friends.
Just stumbled on this and I didn’t know I could relax just listening to the rain and radio chatter. Plus the Sci-fi vibe and setting just puts you in the mood to space out. Thanks for making this
Holly sh*t ! Just when I think you've outdone yourself with a crazy ass upload you outdo yourself again. Absolutely insane my friend, freaking spectacular 10/10 Thank you.
Cool ! At first I thought this was the pilot area of a ship, but then I realized it's just a forward observation pod. It's still awesome ! Nice job ! I dig the radio chatter. Reminds me of my nights on patrol in the city.
Well well well , once again my friend you bring happiness to my everyday simple and mundane existence with another delectable morsel of exemplary fine dining ambience .The combination of just the right volume from both the weather and the radio chatter for some reason is something that is too difficult for all the other middle school students in this genre to master ; but if they just strolled through the competition of their profession then maybe they could learn a little bit about how to get the job done correctly . Please accept my thankfulness and praise for your hard work and time my good sir , for it is all I can afford for such a rich and masterful professional such as you my friend . ☂👌🤗
Thank you for your nice words, mate. It's nice to be noticed in this way. Yes, I studied visual communication field at university and I prepare these videos as a educated professional. Happy to see my videos work for you. Cheers :)
You are by far my favourite RUclips channel and the quality of your content is on another level. Thank you so much. I almost exclusively use RUclips now to interact with your soundscapes.
I have to admit, this is so amazing. Perfect combination for me to sleep. The rain and noise alone WORKS, but takes forever. The addition of the radio chatter, where its faint, but still clear. Love this!!
9th September 2236 It's not been easy going on Olfar. This planet was designated a mining planet 20 years ago and has a population of 506. With the exception of children and teachers, everyone here does something around the mining operations. We have rich minerals of iron, carbon and rhodium here. It's just getting them out of the ground that's the problem. I work in the survey office, we used drones and scanners to find deposits. Occasionally we have teams on the ground and we hear them relaying to each other what they find. I also find it a bit odd that with a planet with a thin, yet breathable atmosphere, there's a lot of rain here. Still, I don't care much for the climate. I'm paid to monitor survey operations, not care about it raining. Norman Grady, mining surveyor
Perfect for when I take a break from my constant music and need some ambient background noise for playing Space Engineers. Quality work man, keep it up!
This makes work feel so relaxing, the chatter gives a kind of peace, and the rain! Wonderful! I have to say I'd love to have this image as wallpaper on my desktop. Is it available for download?

Hi Selcuk. Is this outpost a spaceship that's landed on the planet or a permanent building ?
