Hi, I'm Mr. Taster and I'm currently in Kerala, also known as "God's Own Country," which is a must-visit destination for foodies. Kochi, a vibrant coastal city, offers a diverse range of delicious cuisine, from savory snacks to mouth-watering seafood dishes. With its rich culinary heritage and stunning natural beauty, Kerala is the perfect place to indulge in a gastronomic adventure.
First, we visited Josa's Shop Shell Bridge Kitchen in Kochi, Kerala, which is a family-run shop with over 55 years of history. They serve delicious snacks like savala vada and pathiri, which are fried to perfection and served with potato curry. The Indian tea served here is the perfect accompaniment to these snacks.
Next, we went to Zam Zam restaurant in Kerala, which is a great place to try traditional Indian dishes like paratha bread and chicken curry. The paratha bread is cooked on a hot tawa and then stacked and pressed with hands. The tender meat in the mutton chops and the delicious broth in the square porotta are a must-try. The fresh seafood available in Kerala is also a must-try, with various fish and shrimps available for purchase and cooking at the restaurant.
Finally, we visited the seafood market in Kerala, which is truly unique, with fresh fish and shrimps available for purchase. The tiger prawn and mullet fish are particularly tasty and juicy. Visitors can even witness the catch of the day, including jellyfish and catfish. This market is a must-visit for seafood lovers and those looking for a unique experience.
