He does indeed raise up the humble in His own time, but sometimes, only in the next life. But even these things are empty apart from knowing God.
It is evil for man to downplay the personal gain there is to have in pursuing the things of the Lord, for you will reap what you sow and anyone who sows sparingly will reap sparingly. God is pleased to reward you.
However, God wants a people who worship in spirit and in truth; we are not to live for circumstance. We are to live for God. And what freedom it is when we can lay down our fears of loss, trouble, and pain, all because we consider God more prescious than all.
