For me i started valorant as a first fps game at my first year of clg due to my friends which also started but due to so much noob gameplay and toxicity and ping issues this keep me demotivating me so much so i left it... within end of first semester itself.
Sometimes its just about the memories which we had while playing those games with our friends. Like for me that game was mini militia, our group used to have so much fun playing that game and all the memories which it brings whenever I see that game
I still remember playing valorant with my brother with shitty laptop and then the game suddenly crash and getting 24 hrs ban it sucked but i still miss it
The main menu theme was the culprit why i stayed in this game.. one after the other, episode 1, 2, 3, 4 were such amazing themes.. i just sat listening to them while queuing.. im by no means doing well in this game even with a good pc and peripherals.. if it had some shitty theme, things would've been very different.. I'd be ranting here about apex legends for sure lol. Comp fps killed my love for games, i just cant enjoy even single player games anymore.. i removed all of 400gb worth of games and installed linux on it so i wont go ahead and reinstall them again haha. Going strong for a good 3 months now.. hopefully i wont fall for the rebound when i go back to windows by any chance.

1:22 you missed going into config files and downgrading the Resolution to 900x720 thats the only way my pc could run that gun picked the agent on time. 2020 was a damn year with shitty pc
