Horror video game idea, the monster can use your mic if you and your friends are in a vc, it can shut the mic off and use it too confirm that everything is normal by taking samples of your voice. The monsters goal is to separate everyone before everyone is dead
Scp secret lab has this but, its very hard to actually use, on paper its a good idea, but as in in scp secret lab, its not really more useful then a funny gag, you wouldn't really be be able to use it, to actually help you kill other players, because most people would realize that it sounds off immediately, maybe if they polished it more it could work.

Even the game tries to make it as pleasant while slowly making stuff even creepier. And by the time you would figure out, it would be game over. The only way to beat the game would be to find secrets in very discrete locations to even have a clue on whats going on. Even after finding secrets, you need to figure out how to get out of this scenario. W or L?

Oh, I’ve seen some people play this. I’m actually working on a similar game, but it relies on acutal fear instead of paranoia. It’s called PHOBIA, you “watch”, or rather play different tapes, each one with a corresponding fear as their name, which is the main event of the tape - having to live out the, uh, “horror” without shutting the tape off. You have to watch through every single one to finish the game and unlock hardmode, where you can get “combination tapes”, which is just what they sound like - several phobias creating a stronger fear reaction. The main goal is really just to make you so incredibly scared that you quiver in your chair, and it’ll probably give you paranoia too.
Played it blind after seeing it’s only like 2 dollars and Markiplier played the og version I think. Pretty good. The content of the game makes it kind of clear a 14 year old made it, the the quality sure doesn’t. Serious props to the creator for real
I swear i feel very disturbed by 4th wall breaks. When i played detroit become human and the girl in the main menu was like "i really like your wall decorations" i felt really creeped out. And detroit isnt even a horror game. So a horror game that focuses on forth wall breaks is gonna be really terrifying for me. Thanks for the recommendation 👍
Analog horror idea:its kind of like this but... After you play the game, you dont feel safe.why? Because when someone else is done with the game, it saves the person's face, its a real person your looking at. In the middle of the game... It starts playing real sounds on your computer an example is that your computer plays an open door sound footsteps getting louder and louder till it stops it plays breathing noises,noises you've never heard before, scratching at your window, playing as this person, John kelly he gets stuck in impossible places to escape, he goes in a mental hospital, he scrapes his leg on a piece of glass while going threw the window his weapons are a chainsaw and a shotgun with 90 shotgun shells with each pocket, your wearing shorts with 6 pockets
I’m picturing this going on in like a Highschool or something and the teacher watching over the students saying something like “This is the Fear Assessment Plus test, or F.A.P.” And a bunch of teens start giggling
imagine a guy who puts tape on their pc camera plays this game and then the next person playing just sees complete darkness when it shows the person who played before lol
idea: a game that looks like a n64 platformer but is off in some ways like objects being higher definition or red when you beat level one it says "why do you animate my corpse?" then it's normal until level 10 where they just collapse on the floor and just becomes a virtual assistant
