I’d advise making yourself a household envelope so you don’t keep forgetting it. I know it goes into everyday binder all at once but I think it may reduce stress by a small amount, especially when you’re still recovering from the magic teleporting money

What you could do with petrol is cash stuff it but use your credit card and then every week when you do your check ins, deposit the money spent back into your account to pay it off. This way you’re keeping your petrol spending accounted for without adding extra debt.
