THIS PERSON WAS JUDGED FOR THEIR OVERGROWN LAWN SO I HELPED- YARD RESTORATION AND CLEAN UP PART ONE

  • This yard is in my immediate neighbourhood and has not been mowed for many months.
The homeowner is unable to maintain the yard themselves due to personal reasons and needed some help.
This video is part one and focuses on the outer edge of the large corner block. I also test out some new camera angles and edging techniques.
I know this is not your typical overgrown yard but like mental health not everything is at one end of the spectrum. It fluctuates up and down.
Unfortunately this homeowner has been the subject of negative judgement due to the state of their lawn from people in their neighbourhood. It was confronting to witness this and it reminds me how important it is to be kind to people.
$100 from this videos revenue will be donated to The Black Dog Institute, which is the only medical research institute in Australia that investigates mental health across the lifespan. Their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.

Your precise and accurate line edging is mesmerising to watch. It is so refreshing that mental health is no longer a taboo subject. I am a 50's vintage and growing up mental health was not taken seriously by not just the medical profession but people in general. Too many of us struggled with everyday life. The awareness and help readily available now is life changing.😊

I am glad you found something to combat mental anguish. Taking something chaotic and making order out of it, like lawn care, has got to be healing. I wish you the best of luck. I like the way you are slow and thorough. It appeals to my own way of doing things, slowly and methodically. That's one of the reasons I like your videos. Thanks.

You are really agile, Tyler: picking up weed clumps on the fly, spotting the carelessly disposed of lighter...yes, GREAT you got to it before Lady Vic!...and giving the lawn a good chance to green up before the rains come to Tasmania. Your take on mental health maintenence is a soothing, gentle repair/reinforcement for your life. Good on you, Tyler. Being aware and addressing an issue are conducive to progress. Praying for you and the rest of us in various stages of mental health improvement, mate. Nice to know we are not alone in this sometimes elusive and sometimes rewarding adventure. ❤🎉😊

Hi Tyler, mental health is something we all need to work on every day.I have more good days than bad but when the bad ones are around I find helping the seniors in my area is a good way for me to get back to the good days. There is always someone hurting more than I am and to get their spirits up in some little way is beneficial for everyone. Hope that makes sense. Looks like the ants are out in force in that yard and am looking forward to seeing the blue tongue lizard and part 2 of the transformation. Stay safe and well. Blessing from across the pond.
