Of all the lessons I have taken over 20 years, this one is by far the best. I think it is because she combines simple and natural phrases with some sayings.
You speak fast, but it's a GOOD thing, because you speak naturally. I have had to watch this video multiple times, and again, that was a GOOD thing, because watching this video multiple times made me memorize words and phrases better. And, I now can even recognize some phrases when I listen to my favorite Italian singers such as Al Bano and Romina Power, Toto Cutugno, Riccardo Fogli, Richi e Poveri... Thank you, Desiree, and Thank you, Italian Pod 101!
I also think that it's useless to learn with a super slow speaker because that will hardly occur in real life, but I guess it depends on people's preferences! Thanks for your feedback :)
There are a few ideas for how to learn Italian Decide exactly why you want to speak Italian Try to speak Italian everyday Decide what process works for you best. (I discovered about these and more on Hartlyn language lessons website )
This is perfect for me, who have been exposed to Italian a lot, but don’t speak it fluently. Thank you so much for doing this. Awesome teacher.... Grazie mille
I've checked out a dozen videos on RUclips for learning Italian. I consider this one second or third best of all the ones I've listened to quite thoroughly. The teacher is very pleasant-sounding, and she's attractive, too. Definitively worthy of THUMBS UP! Grazie and Thanks for this video! Thank goodness, too, for the lack of any noisy background music, which can be rather distracting, especially in tutorial videos! Thanks, again for this video.
Thank you for these lessons. I wish the sentences were up on the screen a bit longer though. It's hard for me to practice with her when they go by so quickly. :)
Hey everyone, i just want to make something clear is that this is how italian people talk for real and some times they talk even faster than this. she speaks with her first Language and she's used to talk this way because the entire language sounds like this.
I had to watch this video multiple times to really understand and learn. The first couple of times I was fascinated by her good looks and did not note her words! She also speaks fast but that is the normal speed in Italy so this is a good way to learn to understand the fast delivery of Italian spoken in Italy. I only have a couple of months to get ready for my stay in Rome, Milano, etc
Ciao tutti! Ho iniziato a imparare l'italiano 2 settimane fa e lo adoro! Io sono argentino, di Buenos Aires, ma abito a Francoforte in Germania :) il mio bisnonno era di Sorbolo, vicino Parma :D
Grazie tante Desiree, you made this tutorial clip very interesting and it was easy to follow. Thanks so much for taking the time to teach a subject we’re all passionate about.
Credo che è un video molto interessante :) Her pace is perfect. If it's too fast I use the pause button ;) Italians speak fast usually ;) She is a delight ;)
thank you, very much enjoy your way of teaching. now I know why you were (FIRST) at your class.again very good use of the English language.also you are beautiful and gifted girl bravo to you.
Good video! My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
Hey, could you please shift the italian text one or two seconds to the back, cause it’s really annoying since it disappears almost before you end pronouncing it. Thanks so much for the great work!!!
yes yes yes.... el italiano es muy parecido al español. muchas palabras son iguales. creo que para personas con español como primera lengua seria facil de aprender... :D
Desiree, you are a very nice teacher and I find quite interesting this video, because I want to learn Italian, but I also find that you speak too quikly and that makes a bit difficult my learning . Anyway, I will suscribe your channel. Many thanks...
I would like for you to speak a little slower, when giving examples of the way to use the words you are teaching to understand better how to pronounce all the words. But thanks for this beautiful lessons. You are an angel.
