How true this is. I don't say cut the cord I say cut off my energy. By that I mean I do my best not to think about the TF. I try my best to stay physically and or mentally occupied. READ THIS STORY:
I tried cutting cord with my twin flame using the candle cord cutting ritual! Basically, I tied two equal candles with a highly flammable twine symbolizing the cord to be burned. His candle started melting aggressively to produce more wax to coat the twine so it didn't catch fire, while my candle was melting at a slower pace but the liquid wax started sliding down the twine so it could avoid catching fire as well. At the end of the ritual, both our candles died out completely, but the twine didn't get damaged by a bit laying perfectly there. Basically that's where I knew we are true twin flames and our cord cannot be severed.

I’ve never tried to fully cord cut. I have to working on pulling away energy tho, when I am giving more than I am getting. I think it’s important in this connection to find a good balance between that energy exchange.

You can't really cut cords with yourself or your soul. This is also a divine connection created by the divine/source/God/universe, it's not something you can just cut off and your soul decided/chose this before you were reincarnated in this life. There may be severe consequences to cutting cords with twin flame connections; it could turn out to be something really painful. This connection is also for ascension so denying the connection is like denying your soul's ascension with your soul and the Universe/Source/God.
If you feel like you can't stay away from thinking about your twin flame then don't stop thinking of them because sometimes what you need to do is let yourself feel the connection and work with it in a natural way. I've been denying myself about my connection and writing in my journal about it; it felt wrong to deny myself this. Nothing works. The pain never goes away. They never leave your mind. Or your heart. I’ve tried. It’s been years. I walked away from a 20 year marriage. I'm a divine masculine in a feminine body , my twin found me in 2008 since I was married, due to my parents religious beliefs I couldn't marry my twin .We lost contact eventually the back and firth stopped after I had a spiritual encounter, I'm officially fed up going insane ,never thought I'd have sleepless nights over something of this sort.
I would cut cords at any cost even though the universe has sent me an endless amount of signs :

*somehow while shopping I got two wedding dresses the first time .😴
This is very apt for me at the moment. Myself and twin have our spirits suppressed. Myself with pharma and her with alcohol and cigarettes. She lied in a Facebook post saying I'd dumped her recently. I don't take it personally though, as I reckon it was the gin talking. What is true is that the last couple of times I've visited her, I've not even stayed 24 hours because it's too tough witnessing someone you love self destruct and living in a mess. We met nearly 6 years ago and I've seen her more than a dozen times but only once was she sober. Despite substances getting in the way for us both and spiritual suppressing, our unified energy still draws us back to one another. Never more than a few days go by, without us getting in touch but there is very much a chaos consciousness which you speak of. They say one is more feminine in the connection and that would be me because she was the runner and still runs but from her emotions and facing all her trauma.... I've at least faced my life traumas and understand them and I'm the more nurturing force. She does have awareness and admits she's reckless but admitted she doesn't deal with her trauma as healthily as I do. It is true the soul is one but our soul is distorted. I try to accept it though and can tune out of it somewhat by meditating. I've neglected this a bit of late though. There was a stage I was doing it every day. There's still a need because often I'm in a void state without feeling. That is definitely due to pharma I'm on though and even when I listen to guided meditation 🧘♀️ it doesn't impact me as much as I know it could due to a lack of feeling/anhedonia. This is another reason I don't set much time aside to do it anymore. I want to try psychedelic therapy instead of pharma but the UK are languishing compared to America with the current availability.
