    I had gone to every Church that I could think of when I was growing up ,trying to find the right place for me. When I was investigating the Church upon walking into the building I was told by the Holy Spirit that “You are home”.

    Regarding the word, I believe the most insightful way to think about this concept is the Hebrew and Greek-related words of Dabar (Strongs 1697) and Logos (Strongs 3056). Our words, works, doctrine, or the output of our mind must align with that of a disciple of Christ, a child of God. In Greek, the word "Homologeo" is often rendered as a confession. I like to look at the two root words coming up with "to be one or the same in word, work, doctrine." Do we confess Christ homologeo? Or do we confess Christ as the demons, exmologeo. Even the demons confess that Jesus is the Christ.

    37:11(ish) I am going to start doing this in the morning, It might take me a little bit to make it a daily habit, but I like the idea to start my day off with a talk, a chapter in scriptures, a Liahona article. I am on day 365 streak listening to a session of conference at night. I first was skipping the music and getting right to the talks (my bedtime stories) and then one night I actually listened to one of the opening prayers and thought wow this is such a deep and heartfelt prayer, I need to listen to these sessions from the prayer and absorb the prayers as if in that moment I was being prayed for. Then I decided I needed to just start from the very beginning from the short snippet of the Choir singing as the man is introducing which session it is. I let the whole conference play (make sure you are not on continuous play else you will hear strange voices in your room in the middle of the night) as I am drifting off to sleep. I figure my spirit can listen even if the body is asleep and I can tell a difference that I am experiencing more and more connective answers through church talks, videos like this, devotionals, scriptures etc. There is richer connection. :) This is an excellent video you guys are amazing.
    You need to watch Escape from Germany (It is the story of the missionaries escaping Germany right before it was shut down to travel out of the country and WWII starting. I expect it should come out on dvd to the church book stores, the story about Jacob's mission, the miracles and then finally leaving the area, is so similar to this movie, it gave me chills to hear of it!

    Who We are??? That is described in Genesis, and Jesus also reiterated this, both about Himself, and about each and every Human Person on the Planet.
    "So God made man in His own image; in the image of God He made him; male and female He made them." - Genesis 1:27 “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.” - Luke 17:21
    Does it never enter your understanding that what Jesus was battling against was PAGANISM. The Priests and the Temple personnel were teaching PAGANISM, and He confronted them with THAT and they killed him. Any concept taught about a God who is EXTERNAL TO YOURSELF is PAGANISM. Any other concept except "Made in the Image and Likeness of God" is a PAGAN CONCEPT.
    When the Romans took over Christianity they just continued their own PAGAN concepts of an EXTERNAL IMAGE OF GOD, and injected it into the Bible writings. The word "SIN" meaning as it was originally used in the Bible was: "Error of thought and understanding" What was "that original error of thought and understanding" ???? (Original Sin)
    God described Himself as I AM, THAT I AM, and Humans are in that SAME IMAGE. So when we say (the spoken WORD) I AM, anything else but "The Image and Likeness of God" then that is "SIN", it is the formation of THE EGO, the FALSE IMAGE OF SELF, SATAN OR THE PRETEND GOD. Or as the Essenes called it the "Demiurge" or the God of the Blind.
    “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:3 Little children have not yet developed this FALSE SELF and JUDGEMENTAL EGO. Little children are still in that original "Made in the Image of God" state, without any Ego Judgemental Thoughts or Concepts, of I AM, this or I AM that, and certainly not PAGAN concept of an EXTERNAL GOD.
    And it is not just "The Image of God" it is also "The Power of God" every attribute that God has, We Have, otherwise why would Jesus have said that we "would do greater things than Him."
    “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS.” - Mark 11:23. The power of THE SPOKEN WORD from the GOD WITHIN. I am in He, and He is in Me.

    WHY HAVE "SEED OF FAITH" in the title
    when Alma 32 likens the WORD (v28)
    unto a seed and Faith is only mentioned
    as defined in v21 and as a way to nuture
    the seed and what is strengthened as
    the seed of the Word grows and
    in contrast to knowledge?

    • @irokruok
      @irokruok Месяц назад +9

      I believe it's titled that way because Faith grows in the process as well in trying or planting the word. Knowledge also grows through this process as we learn what results from exercising faith in the word. There are many seeds growing together. How many times have you read the same passage of Scripture and gained some new light or understanding that wasn't seen previously? For me that's a common experience. It was there the whole time, but the Spirit uncovers more treasures that I'm ready to receive, This is the seed of the word growing for me, to reach me at the level my seed of Faith and seed of knowledge is growing.
      Jesus Christ being the author and finisher of our Faith, demonstrates that eventually Faith grows until we come into the presence of Christ and faith is replaced with pure or absolute knowledge.
      Other seeds growing at the same time in this process are seeds of testimony, desire for God's will, Charity toward others, seeds of obedience, seeds of sacrifice, along with many others we plant in our growing process.

    • @bumpercoach
      @bumpercoach Месяц назад +1

      @@irokruok good stuff but its mainly from the Primary Song which mix-mashes different scriptures to say "faith is like a little seed..." -- its a common but only half excusable mistake
