Congratulations James! Hard work to keep the dream alive, find a shop so close to home and the old location, and actually improve the usable space! I can't wait to crash on my favorite shop couch! We're all looking forward to the next phase of Merrick's Garage and years of success!

I am glad it worked out for you. I know the stress you went through because I went through the same ordeal. My last shop here in Las Vegas got sold to build a parking lot for the new Raiders stadium, and I had to get out at the end of my lease. Luckily I found another shop that was better than my old one.
Yea, unfortunately this seems like the norm for a lot of us builders. Super stressful!

Seeing that K5 on Irok tires reminded me. I priced an Irok 36x13.50r16 radial load E tire at my local off road shop for my 85 K20. I was quoted $1,275.00 Canadian for just ONE tire!!!! I never even bothered asking if that included sales tax!
