I did this at the hobby store and left them the built kit in the bag. They were curios what the hell I was doing rustling a bag on their table for 2 hours.

This is really entry level since you don't gotta assemble it. It comes pre assembled
How the blue hell you managed this is ridiculous. I mean it I wanna see the science, PowerPoint presentation and Excel spreadsheets the full works. I tried to build the EG strike and do a shot of whiskey for every piece popped off and my partner found me crying into the manual XD

I would've probably give up in one or two minutes trying to piece the RX-78-2 together.

Next challenge suggestion: biggest 30MM custom you can make in under an hour. Doesn't matter what it looks like, could even end up as a brick of sorts.

I attempted this and poked a hole in the bag on the last part 😢.
I only build one gundam so far and it took me a long time. How are you guys even building these things without looking at the manual? I mean I even cut them out of the runners one by one while looking at the manual and here you are doing it like it's nothing....
You build enough of them enough times and something like an entry grade is easily inferentiable.
once you get used to building kits it gets much easier, because you start to notice common things, something that helped me was cutting out all the parts of a specific number section in the manual i.e. torso,head,legs. and then putting the cut out pieces together
Remember that this is an entry grade- it’s almost as basic as a kit can get. Also, while iconic, the RX-78-2 is pretty bare bones compared to its descendants.
Easy after years of building I've even built one piece kits without instructions ( a friends kid thought he was being funny 😎 I showed him I don't need stinking instructions)
I respect the endevor undertook here.

I mean it’s basically a dumb down version of the HG version
Its easy if you have 2 one bag one box open box remove instructions then build ( mecha did it near the start 😜it pays to pay attention )

@@ryuu8821 Depends on the set. There are many bag only sets released each year for checkout line pegs, and stocking stuffers. Those are typically the ones people use for in bag builds.
