I guess I need to upload my pics in youtube how I fixed civic hybrid 2012 a year ago. Now still going very well. It was the problem from IMA inverter transistor.
Hello. Can we do programming for the 2007 Civic battery computer so that the IMA light works only when the voltage difference is about half a volt and not parts of the voltage. For example, the IMA light turns on when there is a difference of 2 millivolts between cells. Is it possible to program it until it reaches 5 millivolts between cells, then the EMA light turns on? Thank you.❤
Hi Aaron, thanks for your vlogs, my 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid has failed IMA, my dealership told that I need to replace "Motor Power Unit" and 051HOZ : Body Electrical Could you tell what they are and where ? Thank you
Hi again. The service manuals say it would be called an IPU or Intelligent Power Unit. But I would say that would also be the Motor Power Unit. That is the exact thing that I replaced to fix mine. It's on the passenger side behind the rear seat back. If you're under 150k miles that should be covered under the extended warranty. There is also a Motor Control Module that is a piece of the IPU unit. That could be replaced separately if that is the specific problem. The inverter module on the IPU is the thing that is specifically covered under the extended warranty.
Howdy! The inverter SCRs had popped. Had to get a refurbished unit to replace the whole thing. Been good for the last 25000 miles and still going well. Thanks!
@@aaronsrose thanks do you have the trouble shooting for it or does this series do that check? My son has an like issue but he is across the country making trouble shooting for me difficulty. Thanks

Howdy! I don't think I can get that far into the settings to tweak that. Maybe with a Honda OEM computer, but even that might be a stretch. Thanks!
@@aaronsrose Thank you for caring about the issue. Do you have solutions for the issue of ima, because the cost of the battery is very high? Thank you

Howdy! I would Google honda Civic hybrid extended warranty technical service bulletin. Hopefully that will find it. Thanks!
