I play solo, I'm on my 200th hours according to steam. I can say that it is playable as solo, you will enjoy it as well except that there will be mobs or ruins that you will not be able to clear by yourself. Skills can be attained and I think it's not that difficult it just consumes a lot of time I have most of my major skills at 30+ my lowest is 21 except for jewelry, herbalism and some weird skill i don't know how to level. My weapons are mostly on 41 max.
i play solo too, and what a pleasure to get lost into lvl up all skill, storing every mats, it feel very satisfying, especially when you hit 20+ every skills (27 bs 27 carp etc for major) and for combat, with the actual system, when you have right spell you can really solo everything On large pack of enemy, like 5 mob (legit no exploit to tree i speak) pacify spell on 4, aggro the last one that is not pacify, other don't aggro Then Mesmerize, Fire ball, Mesmerize, Fire ball, Mesmerie... then repeat there is plenty of strategy you can apply as solo player that make the game so easy for every content xD Solo isn't an issue (for now)
Pax devs r sacrificing a certain part of solo audience for the longterm quality and level of emergant gameplay. As a solo player being forced into drama filled clans its tough, but for the best.
I have a problem with giving all my resources to clan leaders, and watching them advance, while they throw me scraps from the table. Not my idea of a good game experience. Solo for the win! A little more work but well worth the journey.
I like playing with people but being part of a big clan leads me to burn out --- too much drama. I'm doing good in my neighborhood with the other 'solo' players -- we've been helping each other out.
I play solo mostly but work with other clans in the area. I started off trading animal hides for tools and armor until I could make my own and it worked out. I’m not concerned about long grinds, but understand it’s not super appealing.

You can absolutely play solo but it's hard, especially to farm for spell gear.

Not only that but you get to advance at your own pace and enjoy the game without feeling like you have to rush to end game.

I feel like you need to be in a clan to fully enjoy the game; but some clans are more "hands-off" than others.
@@DennisA1213 yup, you can basically take advantage of clan stations and whatnot, and still play “solo”
same here im a casual player...
Host my own server , or with friends would be great .
