Morning everyone, I hope you've all had a great week:) So today I'm talking neutrals, all those beautiful and calming tones and how you can integrate them into your outfit ideas. I had so many ideas for this video so it's jam packed full of inspiration! I really hope you find it helpful:) Big hugs and thanks so much for watching, Jess x
How in God's name did I miss this episode? Wowza Jessie! I love this week's session! 🌺😙🌺 That skirt with the grey jumper is so amazing omg....🌺😙🌻i need to watch this 3 times...Xo Joanne

Absolutely Martine🙌🏻 i used to live in Kensington and had the best second hand store as my local. All those very rich ‘ladies who lunch’ would drop off their barely worn pieces for me to snap up! Miss those days😘
You have a very sophisticated casual style. Love all your choices and they look so smart and effortless. A very rich look. I am working on having a more neutral wardrobe but it is very hard for someone who loves color. I am putting more ivory and olive into my summer wardrobe and having your videos for ideas is absolutely wonderful. Loved your suggestions and outfits. More please.
Morning lovely:) That sounds like you have the balance right, just keep adding in the odd neutral here and there and integrate them with the colour you have. I truly believe if colour is your 'thing' then you shouldn't shy away from it. That's your personal style and you should embrace it:) Maybe just use neutrals to tie in with those colours for when you want a more minimal look:) Happy Sunday lovely x
Jess I first fell in love with neutrals during my first trip to Italy as a 21 year old - I was stunned by how the Italians wore them both women and men those lovely linens cotton and light silk during their summer - 40 years later and they are still the staples of my wardrobe though I do mix them up with leopard - burnt orange - teal and fushia pink - my love of neutrals is only equaled by my love of scarves - another fabulous video hon xx Chilly here in Sydney town !!
This is my colour palette. There’s nothing better than a classic camel blazer, white top and jeans in my opinion. I just bought the camel oversized blazer from Everlane and I’m going to get so much wear out of it this winter. I love your khaki green pants. 🥰
Hello Dear Jess! I loved all sugestions. I feel I need to use these beautiful and calming tones, to feel good and confident. Thank you so much! Have an amazing Week! Big hugs!
Thanks Jess, nice Sunday morning video with breakfast in bed, think it’s my new routine 🥰 I appreciate the advice on sustainable options. No more fast fashion for me. 👍 really looking at materials and quality now, so thanks again.
Breakfast in bed...not that sounds a perfect Sunday🙌🏻😋 I’m with you on sustainable options, I’ve given up on Zara altogether actually. Just to hard these days to sift through all the polyester:/ Happy Sunday lovely x
Hi Jess You have really encourages=d me to have more neutrals have bought trousers shoes and a blazer over the last mths so please keep up with these sorts of videos they really have changed the way I think with all your ideas thank you
Thank you for this video, Jess. I especially liked the tip about putting a caramel colored sweater/bag with the olive slacks and ivory blouse. I have similar pieces but never wear them together because they look plain, just the slacks and blouse. I do have a caramel colored crew neck cashmere and several caramel colored handbags. Thank you so much for that tip. I have to tell you that your very first neutral outfit where you are wearing red lipstick, I thought was another woman. LOL! You looked great and different with the red lip. I have so many neutral pieces and what I didn't realize until recently was that I have cooler taupe pieces and warmer camel pieces. I never thought about neutrals that way and really started to look at my light colored slacks and sweaters to sort them out by tone. I didn't think you should mix the cools together and the warm tones. I started looking at my clothes in an entirely different manner when I realized this about neutrals. But I see in one of your last outfits you have mixed up the tones, very nicely. I loved the way that looked. That takes talent! Thanks for the inspiration. I want to run to my closet, but alas, I have to start dinner. ;-)
@@FashionStyleEdit I did!! On vacation visiting my daughter in South Carolina. I showed her your channel. She has commented that I have looked cuter and less frumpy....lol!
Thank you Jess for the colour tips. I Love all the outfits. These colours are my favourite as I am blond ( with the help of my hairdresser!). They are soft combinations : you can go to work with them or have dinner. Love to you and family from Spain.
You are truly a beautiful woman, of refined taste! I'm so happy to find your channel. Although I don't know English, it's enough for me to watch your videos, which inspire me a lot in finding my own style! I think I’ve grown more than half already. You're one of a couple of my favorites on you tube. Thank you very much and I send you cordial greetings from beautiful Serbia! 🍀❤🌿👜👠👗👑❤
Your hair looks so lovely parted slightly on the side. It's beautiful both ways but the side part frames your face in a very flattering way. I enjoy your videos and I get so much inspiration from your style choices. Thank you!
Super video- thanks so much ! ... #1. Khaki pants w/white shirt & camel sweater. #2. neutral jacket with floral top & white pants. #3. White sweater & white shiny skirt ( but I am not a fan of mohair so will look for different one).
Easy Sunday morning coffee and Jess...easing me into the day with neutral tone dressing. Even your voice helps me start the day making me think what I have in my closet rather than buying more! Thank you Jess...see you next Sunday :)
Your videos always surprise me by their quality and the inspiration they provide! For me, good quality fabric and tailoring, neutral basics, different shades of blue and pops of red are my go to year round. You look amazing, especially when you add just a touch of lipstick 👌
Right … it’s decided- I need an oversized camel/ light caramel/ toffee blazer! Thanks for this video- helped me refine my shopping priorities for spring/summer
Hi Jess. What a lovely video and neutral and earth colours are my favourites. I have always steered towards black but have tried to go for other options over the last few years. I think layering is so chic but our warm weather means that the spring season is virtually over before it begins ! I really love the linen trousers and casual chic of teaming them with a shirt and then a woollen knit around the shoulders. You always look fab! Take care 💖🌷🌸
Fabulous Jess. I think neutrals look so effortlessly classy. Loved it all. I'm waiting for an H&M blazer to arrive that's a very similar colour to the one you wore in this video, it's been out of stock forever so hopefully it'll fit. I'm hitting the shops 2mrw for the first time since restrictions eased last month, I've got a large wish list so wish me luck 😄. Hope all is well with you, see you next week x
ÀHHHHHH Sunday again...another beautiful video....loved the satin skirt the lovely cream knit. Thankyou... we are very cold here and some of your ideas are able to transfer into winter with a little bit of experimentation... thankyou x
Morning lovely, thanks so much for watching and I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it and got a few ideas. Sending a little sunshine your way! Big hugs x
An inspiring video, thank you! In the last couple of years I’ve changed my hair colour, from very dark to very blonde, (due to those pesky silver highlights 😂) and now I find myself struggling to wear all those lovely soft neutral tones. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror last year and I just looked beige and washed out. I loved how you used blue and deeper camel tones to add more colour, I’m going to try that.
Oooh, Jess, I adore the cream (beige?) trousers and light blue blouse together! Love all your outfits. I've lost weight (still losing) and am making copious notes for when I buy my new wardrobe.
Hi Jo-Anne, ooh good for you losing weight hun, and even more exciting getting to purchase a new wardrobe!! I have a lockdown tummy going on that I really need to shift:/ I hate sit ups, with a passion, but I'm trying! I'm not sure if the beige trousers are still in stock but it's worth having a good search around as there's loads of lovely linens atm. Have a great week Jo-Anne x
I love the tan/camel & white and the black & white the best. I love neutrals and earth tones and have them in my French capsule wardrobe. I've never worn a lot of grey or navy before, but now I have a few basic pieces and love them.
Yes, like you I do stand in front of a long mirror and shop my closet, trying on my neutral pieces and until I see an outfit that looks good. I even put tops/bottoms together I don't think would match and find out it does look good together. I live in sunny CA so I'm not into trench coats although I see their uses and they look good as an outfit. I liked your taupe knit blazer with the red floral vest. In fact I loved all your outfit choices in this video. Your narration is excellent.
Hi Jane, thanks for getting in touch:) First of all lucky you living in sunny CA, really rather jealous haha! It really helps having a play in front of the mirror doesn't it, often that's how I'll come up with my favourite outfits. The ones I never think will work but I have a go! Thanks so much for watching and I'm so glad you enjoyed it x
Hi its always a pleasure with your content I just wanted to add that I do favour a more neutral pallet and this season even more so I fell in love with mode of dress even more so by whaching a character in Ugley Betty (willamina) she was always beautifully presented in shades of white or cream beautifully cut pieces I have been on a hunt for that perfect white or cream suit 😊as always its a pleasure to whach your uploads I find them informative and refreshing be blessed always 😘🙏🏼
Love this video, think its my favourite so far. Im personally moving away from black, not fully but exploring other colours. I loved the white silk midi skirt outfit. Also loved the different ways you did your hair. At the beginning you had it sleeked back. I presume into a bun. It looked ultra chic and parisian. ♥️👏
That's so nice to hear Erika thank you:) I must admit I do like black in Summer, particularly a pretty dress but I've found I've bought a lot more neutrals recently too. Maybe we all subconsciously crave the calmness of those tones after 2020! And thanks for commenting on my hair. I do have dumbo ears so don't wear it up too often! Have a wonderful week Erika x
Morning Jess, early one today.. Willy woke me 😄 Love neutrals, timeless. Think my favourite look was the silk skirt, and jumper. Love the layered looks though. My styling tip would be, don't go for a vindaloo wearing neutrals 😄😄 Hope you're ok, keep smiling us that beautiful smile xx 😘
Morning lovely:) Willy would do well in our house, Walter could play with him at 6am haha! Glad you liked the video hun, I got a bit carried away with outfit ideas in this one so lots of inspo!! Have a fab Sunday gorgeous and big hugs:) x

I know neutrals are "on trend" for SS21, but to me, they have never been "off trend". Neutrals always look classic, fresh, and perfect for warmer weather.
I feel the same lovely:) And I think i'll probably always have a heavy selection of them in my wardrobe whatever the trends! Have a good rest of the weekend x
Hi Jess. The black Sezane dress looks so chic on you. Also thanks for the styling tips. I have a pair of Reiss cream trousers and just was not sure about them. However your styling tips about a white t-shirt and cream trousers look so good paired together for summer. I will try it out. X
Good morning Jess ☀️this was an inspiration packed video! I loved all the outfits and additional suggestions for similar items and at different price ranges. I cannot choose just one favourite outfit - I liked the earthy tones, the floaty polka dot dress, the silk skirt and cardigan . . . my list could go on! Thank you for this useful neutrals styling video. I’m looking forward to discovering the styling possibilities centred around neutrals.
Hi Cristina, I hope you've had a great week lovely and a nice chilled weekend:) Neutrals are wonderful aren't they. I just always find them so elegant and calming and really wearable for real life I guess. Have fun styling some new outfit ideas Cristina and a wonderful week ahead x
You make beautiful videos, thank you!! 👍🏼😍 I’d been eyeing the black linen Sezane dress from one of your past videos. It’s arriving this week. 👏🏼👏🏼 I love neutrals and you have provided some wonderful inspiration. I live in South Florida, perhaps warmest climate in US so I spend most of the year in these types of outfits. Would love a part 2. 😊❤️☀️
What a useful, informative video! I am a huge fan of earthy tone outfits and your video is absolutely inspiring, giving me some good ideas :) Thank you so much. I will definitely watch this video over and over again. :)
Beautiful inspiring looks Jess - Thank you - I so look forward to Sunday mornings!🤗💫👌🏾🌻I love neutrals and sometimes black actually, in the summer, with a dash of colour and prints🤗
Hi Jess, first of all thank you for your videos. I really wait for Sunday to watch it 😊 Could you please advise me how you manage to fasten your cotton belt from Sezane dresses? I got lately Havana dress and it looks great but the belt is not holding together at all. It's s opening the moment I take my hands off. Thank you ahead for your answer. Have a great day 🌸
I’m very much a neutrals person (was known at work years ago as Mrs Beige 🙄😂), to me they just scream effortless and classy and never date. I do go rogue on occasion (like the hot pink and orange silk Jaeger dress I bought years ago and I love it) but my wardrobe is predominantly filled with neutrals. Love all the ideas you’ve shown, my kind of looks. Thanks for sharing.❤️
Haha Mrs Beige, these days that'd be a compliment Maureen! I'm so with you, they just feel calm, elegant and effortless don't they and I feel if you start out with those as your base you can then easily sprinkle in a pop of colour quite easily if you wanted. Have a wonderful week Maureen, hope the sun shines where you are x
I loved everything! That white silky skirt is beautiful. All I wear is jeans but I wish I could find an alternative. Body shape is the issue, I have bulky bottom half and don’t know how to dress it. X
I just have found your channel couple days ago and I love it. I am 33 years old, I have a 4 year old. Last year we spend all the time either at home or on the playgrounds/ in the forest etc so dress code was pretty obvious (sweats, legginsy.. Comfortbale and easy) and I have been really missing dressing up a bit. And for me dressing up is wearing a shirt with jeans(cause still it has be comfortbale and efortless) I love Especially your series about French clothing and fashion👍❤️
Hello Karolina, firstly thank you so much for finding my channel, I know there's a lot to choose from on RUclips! Welcome to our lovely little group. And secondly, totally get what you're saying about dressing up, especially with a little one! Their joyful, but messy aren't they! I have 3 boys:) Not long now lovely and some sort of normality and 'out out' events will resume. Have a wonderful week and thanks again for getting in touch x
Hi Jess As usual loved this and love the look of a neutral outfit I think it looks very luxurious on a side note thinking of investing in a polene bag and was thinking of the Numéro un in the grey as I think it could work across seasons as I don’t really wear black what do you think ?? Also will polene ever give you a discount code ?? Thanks Jess Xxjane
Great video very inspiring! I love this super cool wardrobe capsule that looks great on you. Maybe some jewelry or accessories suggestions could be great for a next video? In any case, very good idea to talk about the neutral palette!
Ughhh your polene bags...love. Can you please do a video on all your polene bags, I want to buy all but would love your opinion so I can invest in my very first one xx
@@FashionStyleEdit , French style is a frame of mind not a question of nationality. After all, Jane Birkin is British!! (and walking through the streets of Paris I have wondered before in which arrondissement all those stylish people can be found; I saw a lot of people in sweatpants and trainers…)
When I saw the subject was neutrals I admit I didn’t expect much? 🤭 Even though I always enjoy watching whatever you post. However. This may be my favorite video yet. I guess my favorite was the earth tones. But really I loved all the tips. To me neutrals are “easy” (which is likely why I don’t ever look “pulled together “). I’m so so inspired! Feeling spunky with 3 weeks left of school Woo!! 💛💛💛
Hi Jill, hope you're well lovely:) Well I'm very pleased I left you feeling a little inspired, I feel like I've done my job right now! Thanks so much Melinda:) Have a great week lovely x
Hi Jess. The black Sezane dress looks so chic on you. Also thanks for the styling tips. I have a pair of Reiss cream trousers and just was not sure about them. However your styling tips about a white t-shirt and cream trousers look so good paired together for summer. I will try it out. X
Beautiful lookbook Jess!! Love each piece and how you styled!! So chic!! Thank you for sharing!!
Aww I'm so glad you enjoyed it lovely:) And thank you so much for letting me know x
Gorgeous! I love all those neutral tones paired with fresh summer blues - one of my favourite combinations 😍 xx
So with you there Paula, it's a lovely combo isn't it:) Happy weekend my lovely x
@@FashionStyleEdit you too Jess 😘

Thank you, feeling inspired 💗
That's so lovely to know, thank you Maria:) x
Love your videos and styling tips!!!
You make beautiful videos, thank you!! 👍🏼😍
I’d been eyeing the black linen Sezane dress from one of your past videos. It’s arriving this week. 👏🏼👏🏼
I love neutrals and you have provided some wonderful inspiration. I live in South Florida, perhaps warmest climate in US so I spend most of the year in these types of outfits.
Would love a part 2.
😊❤️☀️
I love that silky skirt and knit ❤
What a useful, informative video! I am a huge fan of earthy tone outfits and your video is absolutely inspiring, giving me some good ideas :) Thank you so much. I will definitely watch this video over and over again. :)
Thanks so much for that comment Grace, I'm so happy to hear you found it helpful:) Have a great day lovely and happy styling x
Luv all your outfit ideas. Luv your bags too😊
I loved everything! That white silky skirt is beautiful.
All I wear is jeans but I wish I could find an alternative.
Body shape is the issue, I have bulky bottom half and don’t know how to dress it. X
Great video! Congratulations and thanks.
You have that new Polene bag!! Gorgeous, I've had eye on it!! =)
I just love all their bags! And the quality far exceeds the price doesn't it:) x
And for me dressing up is wearing a shirt with jeans(cause still it has be comfortbale and efortless)
I love Especially your series about French clothing and fashion👍❤️
Hello Karolina, firstly thank you so much for finding my channel, I know there's a lot to choose from on RUclips! Welcome to our lovely little group. And secondly, totally get what you're saying about dressing up, especially with a little one! Their joyful, but messy aren't they! I have 3 boys:) Not long now lovely and some sort of normality and 'out out' events will resume. Have a wonderful week and thanks again for getting in touch x
You look lovely and I love all your neutral style inspo
Thanks so much Nina I'm so happy you enjoyed the video x

Thanks so much Glenis, I appreciate that 😊 x
Love your style Jess. You always look fabulous! Thanks for all your style tips. x
Hi Jess
As usual loved this and love the look of a neutral outfit I think it looks very luxurious on a side note thinking of investing in a polene bag and was thinking of the Numéro un in the grey as I think it could work across seasons as I don’t really wear black what do you think ?? Also will polene ever give you a discount code ??
Thanks Jess
Xxjane
Helpful thanks, love your style ❤️
My pleasure Kate, thanks for watching 😘
Beautiful 😻 thanks 🙏 ♥️

Nice style Neutrals outfit🥰
I'm glad you enjoyed it:) x
Great video very inspiring! I love this super cool wardrobe capsule that looks great on you. Maybe some jewelry or accessories suggestions could be great for a next video? In any case, very good idea to talk about the neutral palette!
Amazing! 😍😍😍
So glad you enjoyed it Grace:) x
Ughhh your polene bags...love. Can you please do a video on all your polene bags, I want to buy all but would love your opinion so I can invest in my very first one xx
You must be psychic! I have a video like that coming next week:) x
@@FashionStyleEdit Thank you your'e amazing, can't wait! X
Who were the pricks that put a dislike? This was right up my alley, loved it, Jess! 😘🙌💃🏽
Haha the same people who keep telling me I can’t talk about Parisian style because I’m British 😂😘 x
@@FashionStyleEdit , French style is a frame of mind not a question of nationality. After all, Jane Birkin is British!! (and walking through the streets of Paris I have wondered before in which arrondissement all those stylish people can be found; I saw a lot of people in sweatpants and trainers…)
Exactly!! It’s like saying the only people who can talk about pizza are Italians and so on! The joys of RUclips hey😉 x
😂🤣
This is lovely Jess! Have you ever looked at the brand Poetry fashion? They have the most beautiful colours and styles which I think are very "you!" X
Neutrals are often thought of as boring I know but hopefully I showed they're really not at all, you just have to think of the little details to add more interest and then it all pulls together perfectly. Have a fab last few weeks hun, are you guys allowed to travel now after that? x
