Seems they are wanting people to spend $ on the game to buy tokens, that’s how I feel about it. And I’m ok with it but 1% drop rate is not cool and 1 per week really isn’t cool.
@@LiamHYTa bit late, but iirc the premium track cost 20.000, and 10 tokens cost 20.000, so there is that. Another topic, all the shopprices are overpriced imo. Slice it in half, and some as dyes even more, and you got a shop that is okay... buuut there should just be more tokens a week
The token's 1% drop rate and limit of 1 per week is perfectly reasonable for an otherwise paid-for cosmetic unlock. I do, however, agree that there should be more ways to receive these in game.
This is the worst case of copium I've ever seen, good lord man. They already have a shit load of macrotransactions in game, there's absolutely no justifiable reason to have "transmog tokens" in this game. Grow up man, stop being such a gullible Garry.
Narh that is opposite logic. The managers decided for it to be a paid item, it could had been free. I think a reasonable amount would be 3-5 a week with 10% droprate. It would still req. A huge amount of grimd and time to get all skins, and thereby give an endgame cosmetic goal for people. 1% and one a week is a very slow burn, and really made to seem like a good move, but is probably just a tactic to push toward the shop with overpriced tokens. But I guess each to their own.
First elite chest i opened, drops the token (comes in a bag, so open-it to add the token to the account), so, guess no more runs for the weak chasing for the token for me
store bought skins or twitch drops etc NO you own them, lets say you want to wear a skin of a set from amrine for example you go grab those items and use a token per item to save it as a useable skin forever
They said we would be able to dye skins we bought previously and now you can't so the only thing you can transmog and dye is loot you found in the game. Personally speaking IMO Im done with New World for now, too little to late.
@@kiing_tyWorld of Warcraft had millions of players for several years before the population started declining. A New World has less then 10k concurrent players and it's declining. In that sense, indeed, it's too late for many. And please, don't dare to compare New World to WoW. Even WoW today, a 20 years old game has at least 20X more players then New World. Cheers
@@FireIronArmPlease elaborate what exactly is funny about that statement? World of Warcraft had literally millions of active players for years. And even today, 20 years later, is literally superior to New World, in every single way. While I'm not playing neither of them, New World died the same year it was released. That's like comparing a game that lived for couple of months, to a game that is alive 20 years later, and still along side Final Fantasy, the most played MMO. That's sad.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video :)!

yeah price per token is reasonable (unless you want every item in the game then its £1000's) the chance for free drops is garbage
They said these would drop in elite chests, but is there a possibility that they’ll also include them in the Seasons rewards?
you already get 8 from season 2 rewards if you do both free and paid for sides to lvl 100, not sure on season 3 rewards, hopefully

I got mine from a normal depths run chest :P
great video mate also 1 con > all the pro's combine, shot them self in the foot
So do we have to spend tokens on previous skins? Also how and when can we dye the skins?

I have to drop every single item from the marketplace and quests to the floor and pick it up to unlock the transmog. Why is AGS so bad at coding?
Personally I think this is too little too late. Sorry New World
sounds like a personal problem
Lol how is it too late? World of Warcraft released in 2004 and didn't get transmog until the release of Cataclysm in 2011.

Remove tokes from in-game drops. Raise cost of them in the shop ... BUT make gear-set slots a free feature.
hmm not sure about this :P
