Good quality video. Keep making them. Shouldn't the Drain Saddle Valve be size for 1-1/2" drain, typical for a kitchen, rather than 1-1/4" drain, typical for a bathroom?
Nice info. I installed this american 5 stage and have a cloudy water or micro bubbles. This cloudy looking should be gone after two times of draining the full tank. It’s been a week and the water is still cloudy looking. Is this normal for your product? Or will this go away after how many more days? My old RO with different brand is very clear after draining one full tank.
@@uswatersystems i called the number you provided at least 3 times. They got my number to call me back as they don’t have a good solution to my milky water. One of the tech support specialist mentioned it can take time for the milky water to go away, he said maybe weeks or months!!! Any other solution?
If mounted in the basement , can the saddle drain be mounted upstairs , or should it be mounted to a basement drain ?? I can also tap into the water supply line in the basement . Then i would only need to run one line up for the water . ? Thank You
This wont work if you have a single compartment sink with a garbage disposal then. Can the drain be connected to the dishwasher connection? someone needs to make an airgap faucet that ties to the dishwasher and garbage disposal... would make everything alot cleaner
Please hire a tech writer!!! The people who design the product should NOT write the instructions or the video scripts. There is not a single mention of how the lines go into the membrane. I have a bottom line and a top line going into this "thing," and I have no idea which line goes to which one. Maybe color-coding the membrane lines would be a start. I guess I have to pay a professional a few hundred dollars to simply replace the filters. Even the documentation that comes with the filters provides zero information. And it also doesn't mention if I turn the tank valve off or leave it on while draining or sanitizing the system. I'm forced to assume, and who knows if I'm correct! I should have taken a picture of every line as I took it off, but you figure the manufacturer would provide something, but there's nothing. It talks about the membrane as if I install these on a daily basis. Your customer is the regular Joe homeowner, NOT a plumber.
Sorry about that. Don't pay a plumber. Call are tech line (1-800-608-8792) or use the online chat feature on the website where you can upload photos. They should be able to help you out quickly.
Does the ro tank need to be sanitized before first use?
