    I think Dr Soles should make a rubber sole that replicates the look of a Hob Nail boot sole. But in rubber. Thin around the edges (easy to sew through) but with simulated hob nails for grip.

    I watch a lot of boot channels. I’ve never seen an entire midsole nailed like a heel Rand. Would that be considered Blake stitched? I’m assuming it goes all the way through all the layers.

      I think the term is just nailed down construction. But it is similar to Blake stitched.

      I've seen a diagram of that construction and it was called a "blake nailed" construction.
