Whoa, I randomly stumbled across this. At first I thought Chino had a new side project. I've been a huge Deftones fan since their first album. I'm not trying to take anything away from this band, but this is like some of my favorite Deftones material. I'd have to imagine you guys are sick of hearing the comparison, but it is what it is. Count me in! I'm pretty stoked to hear the rest of the album.

Yeah I mean the comparisons do get a little overblown and tired sometimes but ya know what, if we’re even mentioned in the same sentence with a band of their caliber, then we couldn’t ask for a better compliment than that. Deftones are my favorite band by far, always have been, so it’s bound to come out in the sound and the writing process. They’ve meant so much to so many people including us, so the comparison is fine by us. Thanks again for listening!

Yes, as damn near everyone can hear, you guys sound a LOT like Deftones.
What's pretty damn cool though....is that while many bands might be able to pull off sounding like Deftones...you guys actually managed to write a song that's also really good. If I heard this without any context I would 100% be convinced it was a new Deftones song, and a pretty damn good one at that. I'm curious to see what direction you guys go in next.

Set on this being my favorite song. You guys are sounding fresh. I see everyone talking about the heavy Deftones influence but I also hear a little bit of Filter, Poison the Well and maybe some Hum.
