RUSH HOUR AT BRISTOL AIRPORT - 6AM First Wave Early Morning Departures & Arrivals, 24th August 2019

- A true representation of airport rush hour, watch as the mass exodus begins at 6AM with the first wave of departures at the UK's ninth busiest airport.
A total of 31 based aircraft make their way out of Bristol on this busy bank holiday weekend, departing to destinations as close as Belfast, to far flung places such as Cancun in Mexico. Saturday morning arrivals have been included as well, keep an eye out for the Freebird & BH Air A320's!
I've been wanting to get to Bristol for the early morning departures for a number of years now and I'm glad I did. With runway 09 in use, a hive of activity can be expected from the Dreamliner arriving from Orlando just before 6AM, to a number of IT charters arriving and departing just as the morning wave finishes.
A breakdown of what you can expect to see from 6AM to 10AM:
19x easyJet A319, A320 & A320NEO
6x Ryanair B737-800
5x TUI B737-800, B757-200 & B787-8
3x Thomas Cook A321
2x Loganair E145
2x KLM Cityhopper E190
1x Aurigny & Stobart Air ATR72
1x BH Air & Freebird A320

Brilliant first time I have actually seen myself. I was flying the 06:05 to Malaga in G:EZAU that morning.
Wow, just came across this, stunning footage!!!
It’s actually crazy looking at the difference between then and now in 2022 with everything going on, now with staff shortage and stuff, and also seeing some old faces no longer seen at Bristol anymore 😢 (RIP Thomas Cook and TUI 757). I really hope the airport gets back on track soon and gets back to the ways it used to be here in this video.

It still saddens me to this day to see videos from last year that feature Thomas Cook aircraft. Flew with them a few times over the past few years before they went under.
That ATR was so graceful on landing too! Got to love an ATR regional!

A couple of my favourites the B788 and Freebird A320, always nice to see the TCX/MON hybrid A321 too. Well filmed and put together LIked :)
Just how unlucky that aircraft has to be, though. Monarch - the aircraft's previous owner - went bust in October of last year, and in October of this year Thomas Cook went bust as well :( Wonder who'll own that aircraft next
