I have known a LOT OF CATS. None of them would be this chill if this was the cat's first encounter with this robot. Clearly, this cat has had previous encounters with the robot, and while it is not scared away by it anymore, it does not really trust the robot yet.

Cat hearing doesn't have that level of discrimination. In a noisy environment with things like car traffic, cats are gonna have a hard time picking up a heartbeat even from a large animal nearby. It's well below the noise floor.
