  • In this tutorial, I will show you how to crochet a case for your eyeglasses. It will also fit an iPhone 12 mini, as well as iPhone 5s and the old iPhone SE very well. You can also adjust the number of chains to turn the phone case into a phone bag!
    It has a 3D flower button that doesn’t have to be sewn on. This project is quick and easy enough for an advanced beginner.
    What I used:
    Yarn: 4 ply milk cotton (28g used)
    Hook size: 2.5mm
    Please like and subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed my crochet projects. I would also love to hear from you if you made this eyeglass/phone case - please leave a comment! I look forward to crocheting together with you again!

    This was a fun project! I did a contrasting color for the flower. I think I might make more to give as gifts. Thanks so much for the pattern:)

    Hi! how many chains should I do if I use an 8 ply milk cotton yarn? this pattern looks really beautiful btw

      I am glad you like the pattern😊
      For this tulip stitch to work, you will want to chain in multiples of 4, so if you want your work to be about the same size as mine using 8-ply milk cotton yarn, I would begin with 8 chains total. You will have 16 stitches at the end of the first round, and 24 stitches at the end of the second round. I would use a 4.00mm hook in this case, but you may have to use a different hook size depending on your tension. Your oval base should be about 6 to 7 cm long by the end of the second round. I suggest that you experiment😉
      I would also like to add that because you are using larger yarn to make a project the same size as mine, your resulting work will look a little different from mine, but please do give it a try!

    Will the fit a Samsung android phone?

    • @craftingwithcaylene
      @craftingwithcaylene  2 года назад +2

      This is probably too small for Samsung phones, but you can easily adjust to suit the size of your phone. You will have to begin with more chains. Just chain in any multiple of 4, and make sure your chain length is slightly shorter than the width of your phone because the base gets wider as you work your way up to the second round.

      Thank you for the reply to her comment! I have some very large sunglasses I'd love to make a case for, and you just told me how! 😊 I love your videos, especially because I always have a hard time finding the right stitch to mark, or where to enter when told to put the hook in a certain stitch, but you show exactly where it goes. Thank you!! ❤

      Hi! I’m not always able to respond to comments immediately, as I only come here during my free time.
      The yarn that I used is called ‘4-ply milk cotton yarn’. The label says that this is actually 100% acrylic. This yarn is light worsted weight (#3 weight yarn), so you can use any #3 yarn!
