Thank u! I will definitely keep that in mind. My first few vlogs around Seoul and in Hong Kong for example I added more music in the background over video of the scenery and my surroundings. I didn't think ppl would wanna hear like the natural noise around me or hear me talk 😅. I REALLY appreciate the feedback!

@@sisilessthan3 yeah, if you've been inactive for awhile, have a small channel, strikes or content YT doesnt like, controversial material, words or songs a bot doesnt like or flags, copyrighted stuff, or not much engagement etc, then the algorithm won't boost you or promote you, even in searches. Sometimes people even get shadow banned & it prevents their channel from growing. You'll search their name but their channel or vids never pop up, or you have to scroll through a couple dozen videos, or type in exact words from a video title since it doesnt get recommended or populate. Ive had that happen with several people I'm subbed to & been learning about it for when I start my own channel. Good related tags help too, but newer & smaller youtubers dont use them much as big youtubers. Ever notice how youtubers pulling in millions of views have weird tags that seem to have nothing to do with the vid? It helps boost them in the algorithm. Example for korea content. Some only tag "korea, teaching, blackinkorea" which is pretty niche, so adding other creative tags like "international, travel, explore, vlog, adventure, curlyhair, abroad, daytrip, couple, friends, life, youtuber, sucscribe" or "ootd" if you have a cute feature on clothes, etc. Tagging anything that may appear 5 seconds may help. General & broad to pull in new viewers & boost the vid, but still related to the content to target your preferred audience. Literally tag anything that may appear in the video, niche to pull in targeted viewers & genetal to pull in new viewers to keep getting your vid reccomended, that may help pull it out of the algorithm abyss lol without having to start over or create a new account. Some people reportedly have had to contact YT directly about it to lift a shadow ban, which they claim are "glitches" sometimes from falsely flagged videos, which I dont believe lol.

Exactly. As hard as she goes for Korea she should be an ambassador to something. Since there are so many Korean beauty supplies in America she sure should be doing some major with them. Infact her and almost all other western women who esp wear products from there should have all types of sponsorships with them.
I liked the new format with more talking and less background music, but it depends in what you are doing. There may be times when you just want us to focus on what we see, not on what is said, so the music would be better than silence. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

The people in Jeju seem nice 😊 I once went to a Korean restaurant with two friends of mine, both were Korean and my husband and I speak a bit as well . She insisted on showing us how to order and how to cut and prepare the meat even though we knew how. I think people just want to be hospitable.
The old lady sit. happens to me a lot in Asia, I'm a pale AF, like Powder, WOC and people were like you need to cover up and I thought they meant my clothes too but other than shorts I'm a hella conservative dresser, I'm like what do you mean? then one woman literally gave me a free hat at the street market she was like cover up cover up you'll get dark, you so pretty, I was like ohhhh k, (so much wrong with that statement) but thnx for the hat any way, but mentally I was like ma'am I'm not a vampire, I'm not afraid of the sun like y'all I'm actively seeking some melanin and vitamin D in these streets, I have sunscreen. Man they really be out here acting like vampires who gone die if the sun touches them, meanwhile I'm desperate for a hot girl summer tan, the melanin deficient struggle is also real SMH
