yep quite literally. then they just added a plate with a bunch of separate translucent square styluses. regardless of whatever they come up with as a final product this will never be anything more than a gimmick and a meme to me. it's just a tablet with a full on-screen keyboard wtf
@ireallydontknowifiamhonest as a mechanical keyboard hobbyist myself, I have to say that you usually get more premium material, design, extra parts, features or customization than what this offers at that price tag. We're at the point and time where you can often get a basic custom for $200 (sans shipping). Sometimes even fully built if you shop the right brand.
basically a tablet with gboard.
yes

typing on this thing gonna feel like a butterfly keyboard
its a cool gimmick/display piece. hopefully they can improve on the typing experience for the retail units.

Release date June 2025, and it’s a real haul effect keyboard not just a screen
that's one grim future

Smaller than Flux Keyboard, but I imagine flux keyboard feels way better to type with
Hi, I just wanna ask is it worth buying and building the gmk87 or just get the prebuilt aula f75 ? How do they compare in quality ?
already better than the flux keyboard (maybe vaporware)
Have you tried finalmouse centerpiece?
as a keyboard, $349 is too steep for that board. As a novelty item, its alright.
Wasn’t Final Mouse making one of these keyboards as well?
imagine having oily/buttery fingers 💀
I need a keyboard with an oled screen that can fit app icons instead of a knob, or with a knob. Can you recommend me any?
isn't this already made it?
Peace Lewis!!! Interesting. The way of the future?
The gimmick is cool, but I wouldn't pay 349 for it. Oof.
to be fair regular (hobbyist) mechanical keyboards do often reach a similar pricetag
