This is my vocal cover of "Flowers Blooming in the Church" from Final Fantasy 7. The original FF7 track, composed by Nobuo Uematsu, is one of my favourite songs in the game. I also find it incredibly sad, and have often cried while listening to it. In this new age lyrical version, I tried to express all of my deepest and most prominently experienced emotions in life - love, hope, joy, grief and sorrow. I tried to make it sound almost as though a mother and daughter are singing together in the Lifestream, bridging the gaps between Earth and whatever lies beyond.

Life has been very stressful for me lately, so this came at the perfect time. I really needed to cry.
This is one of my favorite tracks in FF7, along with "The Nightmare Begins" and "Listen to the Cries of the Planet." I can feel the emotion that was put into this.

Beautifully done, Rebecca. I’d be delighted if you put vocal tracks on more of your compositions.
For me, and I think for many of us who played these games, the tunes Nobuo Uematsu composed begged for lyrics, and often inspired them at least in my mind. I never wrote anything down, but I often felt that his music was speaking to me as much as the words of the characters if not more.
This lyric really captures Aeris’ place in the story of FFVII. She is its heart, its center, and the embodiment of hope for peace and wholeness for the player as well as for Cloud. To fall in love with her is to fall in love with the Planet itself, with Nature as a positive force for good bringing healing to the hurts of humanity. You’ve captured that beautifully in this song. Well done.

I've read the lyrics all along. It changes from those I am use to from Erutan but I prefer the path you choose to take.
Ifalna and Aerith bonds together in the dear embrace of the lifestream. I really enjoyed the smooth musical field filled with rain.
It's not invasive. The voice can smoothly resonate above and get through everyone heart

my dear miss Tripp you have truly outdone yourself I am going to try not to gush but it it going to be hard since you have combined two of my favorite things this song that is very near and dear to my heart and your singing that is some of the purest and most beautiful I have ever heard I am so glad and feel so privileged to have an entire song with your lovely voice in it this is pretty much going to be my favorite song of yours till I hear you sing again in another song also the lyrics, my what impressive lyrics these are that perfectly capture that spirit of the song and everything it stands for in game the sadness and despair but also the hope and optimism for a better future despite our pain, I just can't get over how good this is so I thank you for being such a talented and sensitive artist and sharing it with us because it means so much to us your adoring fans

Since you put japanese symbols on your video titles, I think you should try making a Japanese orchestration of Touhou Project, with Taiko drums, Biwa, Shakuhachi flutes, etc.
Have you ever seen Blade Runner? I think maybe it's the rain, but it reminds me something of that scene in which Rachael is playing the piano. It is mystical; like Vangelis.

Final Fantasy VII was a very serious, touching game hiding behind the façade of fantasy. Well, at least the 1997 version was. The remake is a complete travesty (with nice graphics).
