What brand of fly rod are you using? Also what wt. and length?

Matt I was using a nine weight rod that was nine feet long. The model was the Orvis Helios2, which today would be the Helio3. I used a nine weight because these fish were strong and we needed to cast both full-sinking and 24 foot S6 sink tip lines to get the flies down quickly to where the fish were. This weight of rod is perfect for Arctic Char, Atlantic Salmon or saltwater fishing. Hope this helps and you get a chance to fish on Ungava Bay!

Oh that would be awesome if I could get the chance to fish Ungava Bay. Let me know the next time you head up that way and I will join you Haha.
