I saw them a few weeks ago here in Germany, had a brief chat with them before the show, such stellar, lovely people. They make the world a better place, as do Dan and Mick!
My guy Joey. I tell people all the time we were best friends in grade 5. I’m so proud of you. I told you your fingers were too fat to play guitar and I love that you proved me wrong
That was brilliant, I love the new album. TPS is responsible for introducing me to so much good music. Brothers Landreth, Cardinal Black, John Smith, and more. So much more than vids about pedals.
Amazing performances from genuine artists. Also, Mick (I presume), what really superb quality audio. The room sounds alive and if you close your eyes it feels like you’re in there with them. I’m sure Joey, Dave and Mr Drum will be supremely happy with this, and after seeing the guys live in Edinburgh a few years ago I think this really captures their live groove.
Fantastic! Next week will be a clean 1 dozen Landreth shows for me over the last five years. Their music brings joy to our home and their friendship brings joy to my soul. I get to thank you guys @thatpedalshow for that first introduction!
I abused the new album as soon as it came out, it's so damn good... Feels surreal to see them perform !! Amazing chemistry, tightness, in the pocket.. I feel even prouder to be Canadian 🇨🇦
Caught them in Narberth west wales 🏴 recently one of those game changing nights when you see a band and the goosebumps last all evening. Faultless plating from the whole band vocal harmonies to die for.
Fantastic set , true artists. They remind me of little feet his voice is like Lowell George , not taking anything from them !! They have that soulful sound you just don't hear anymore . PEACE and LOVE to everyone
That was sweet. That's the first time I've heard these guys... Just downloaded their albums. The production was top notch! 👍🏼.... Also, that single cut is bloody gorgeous!!
I love this Band i have their first two albums and waiting patiently for their third i also have their little CD they put out. I can’t believe that they are virtually unknown here in Australia i tell so many people here in little ol Adelaide about them so hopefully one day they’ll come down to Aus and do some concerts . They were kind enough to sign my Vinyl of let it lie which i will always treasure hope they stay together for a long time
Oh thank you! This is so worth the wait. Amazing video and audio capture. Your move to this location, and all the effort you guys put in to create this space is realized in a most beautiful way with this. Much apprecition to everyone behind the scenes at TPS. And to Dan & Mick, thank you for coming into our lives weekly, sharing your gifts and your friends with us. 🙏
Simply AMAZING. Shows the power of a trio where all three members are amazing musicians, singers, and arrangers. Sounds more massive than most larger bands!
You guys introduced me to Joey some years back. Ever since I have been a die hard fan. And had the pleasure to see them 3 times. A big fan of Joeys solo stuff too. They were, are, what I had been searching for… Thank you.
Absolutely loved this, watched it a few times now. Man I wished I could have seen The Bros or even Joey on their last tours, hell not even sure if they came to Scotland. Enjoyed the album but man they absolutely destroyed that live, wonder what they would be like cranked on a stage. Thanks leg ends
Oh my word… it’s been a while since I stuck a track on repeat but “drive all night”, what a song! I’m probably responsible for most of the views on this video! Crackly jack, tuning on the fly, just wonderful musicians having fun you can hear. Thank you.
Saw Joey in Manchester (UK) a couple of times and on one particular gig his tone was the best I've ever heard from any live performance (and I'm old and seen a lot of bands 😂)......Stunning
I keep coming back to listen to this. All the songs are great, but I think the cover of Little Feet's Two Trains is the best live recording of this song. In fact, I think it's the best recording of it, full stop - live or studio. Joey's studio version is better than any version Little Feet ever did. I need this session in an EP so I can download or buy it!!
Masterful sounds from The Brothers Landreth and tastefully executed too!! Joey is phenomenal on slide and vocals!!! Awesome Little Feat cover at the end ❤️
@@ThatPedalShow I figured out why the song sounded like a Little Feat one because at the end of the show it explains that fact in the description that it is by them. Anyhow I love this live video of the Brothers Landreth and I love Dan and Mick for making me aware of them❤️
Killer! Absolutely killer. Had the absolute pleasure of seeing the Bros. in Sheffield - and even with Joey's amp playing up, it was amazing. Many happy returns, people.
Fantastic. Never knew of them until I was introduced to them by TPS recently. Amazing talent. I’m seeing them in a small theatre in St Albert, just outside of Edmonton on Oct 27/22 I wonder if Joey will be wearing his denim cape…. 🤣 😁🎸👍
Thank you! Just done the PrS show. Really sorry to say I didn’t ask him about left handers. We were so in to the pedals and trying to get through those, every tangent was talking ages…… Anyway, it’s a GREAT show with apols to all you left-hookers!
Wow! Just wow. Got see you leg ends play with Joey at Fat Lil's a few years ago and was blown away, what a night that was! Drove all the way from Bournemouth just for the night - totally worth it. Gutted I couldn't get to any of his UK dates this year. Thank you for the video Mick, listening on studio monitors and the recording is stunning. Fantastic. Thank you TPS
As soon as the bass fired up I thought there was going to be a pedal avalanche 🙄 lol ..... such amazing talent is in this trio .... thanks guys and TPS crew for putting this together ❤️
That was so good. Really loved Corduroy, as a song. Reminds me of the best of Stevie Wonder. And something I always like to hear in guitarists, someone channeling another type of instrumentalist on a guitar - electric keys here. And the slide playing and tone, on Two Trains was incredible, but the rest of the track was also so well done. Maybe Joey can team up for a high-octane slide guitar duet version of this, with Derek Trucks, and call it Two Trucks ;)
Great stuff! And nice mix Mick! Amazing you guys manage to fit the full band in there and get such a great sound! Congrats! More music on TPS Sunday Session! 😊❤🙌✌️
One of the best bands you can enjoy on todays music scene. I went out last month to a concert in Cologne. Unfortunatly the location was small and long. And the stage was nearly at the same height as the audience. So i couldn't see to much. But the guys were amazing and the sound was perfect. Thanks to Dan and Mick i can now see them during a performance ;-)

So much expertise, even the micro adjustments to tone and volume, pickups etc on the fly mid song. Incredible musicianship.
Should release the audio as an EP
The Bros. Landreth : Live from Schwangrila
I saw them a few weeks ago here in Germany, had a brief chat with them before the show, such stellar, lovely people. They make the world a better place, as do Dan and Mick!
That's very kind Nils, thanks. We love the Landreths for sure!
Agree my friend ❤
My guy Joey. I tell people all the time we were best friends in grade 5. I’m so proud of you. I told you your fingers were too fat to play guitar and I love that you proved me wrong
He and Derek are two of the greatest slide players alive today.
I’d add Dylan Adams and Ariel Posen to that list too!
@@Tyler_Wilson I feel I should google Dylan Adams now
Rhythm section really lays a beautiful foundation for Joey. Dave is such an inspiration to me as a bass player.
That was brilliant, I love the new album. TPS is responsible for introducing me to so much good music. Brothers Landreth, Cardinal Black, John Smith, and more. So much more than vids about pedals.
Thanks!
Tone. Feel. Nuance… Damn! You really got this Sunday morning on a roll. Thank You!

Thanks Sean. It means a great deal to us to be part of the wider Landreth fam!
The first 3 were soulful but Two Trains was worth the price of admission alone. Great way to end it 👏🏻

Two Trains and Let it Lie. Excellent!

Thank you Simon!
Go buy all of their albums… just amazing - you won’t be sorry.
Three phenomenal musicians in their own right and so tight together. Had the privilege of seeing and meeting them in Glasgow last month.
I'm sure they already sound great but your sound engineer deserves major props. Not just for this but for all of your shows. It deserves headphones
Thanks! Mick here (sound engineer)
Absolute joy. Thanks so much, each and every one.
Woooo! Speechless 🤯🎸

Shawn! Bring the STB man!
Absolutely phenomenal!!!
Watching them play was a master class
These kind of close up concerts really round round out the tps educational experience
“Let It Lie” is so good! Thanks for this Dan and Mick!
Oh my, this is what I needed. Thank you fella's
It’s not often one feels totally inadequate yet utterly uplifted at the same time. A soul enhancing experience, many thanks guys.
Thank you Cherry!

Excellent Sound quality, top notch. And the band arnt arf Good as well
This is way too much guys! We don't deserve this much pure perfectness in 20 minutes!!
You soooo deserve it!
My copy of Come Morning is here and it’s brilliant. I’ve been waiting for this video! Let’s go!!
Fantastic.
What a great recording!
What a morning delight!
Never enough of these fine fellows!
More of these “pedal sessions” please! Great to be exposed to something new that is so good.

My favorite band now that I’ve seen them live.

Thanks for this Dan and Mick this is amazing!
That drop to fix the tuning mid song just got me. What a talent he is. To do that while signing and playing. Wow! Love these guys.
As soon as the bass fired up I thought there was going to be a pedal avalanche 🙄 lol ..... such amazing talent is in this trio .... thanks guys and TPS crew for putting this together ❤️
been waiting for this video. finally!
There'll be another one later too!
