Christine was my first Stephen King, I think I was in 7th grade. I binge read his books for awhile, but I am not caught up on his more recent works. I think the most recent I checked out was Doctor Sleep. My favorite is The Shining, reread it before Doctor Sleep. I would love a Misery reread, new goal is to make that happen this year. Side note: great video! These reviews keep getting better and better :)
Kristina Anderson : I haven’t read a new Stephen King book since Bag of Bones came out in 1998. If you happen to read my question, can you recommend a King novel from the last 20 years that you think I should read? I like the supernatural stories, like ‘Salem’s Lot, It, Desperation, etc. Thank you in advance!
I love "Needful Things", such a great book that had me pulled into it the whole time. I liked just how it tied all the previous Castle Rock book settings into it but I just think the main antagonist of "Needful Things" is just so interesting with possible ties to the "IT" universe. "Needful Things" was just so excellently written with such a great plot.
I’m a freshman just getting into Stephen king, right now I’m reading The Shining but I’m almost done and I don’t know what other books I should read as a starter, what do you recommend?
My top ten King books. #1 Dark Tower series #2 Dark Tower series #3 Dark Tower series #4 Dark Tower series #5 Dark Tower series ..... you get the point 😊👌
Great video! You’ve convinced me to read Duma Key and Desperation. I’m saving The Shining for Halloween. Just recently read Bag of Bones and loved it!! Had no idea SK wrote a YA novel! Can you write the list of books in the description?
Here's my list: 10- Of a Buick 8 9- The girl who loved Tom Gordon 8- Cujo 7- Misery 6- Bag of bones 5- Pet Sematary 4- The green mile 3- 22/11/63 2- The Stand 1- It There are some good books of him that I haven't read, but I promise I will do it soon. Anyway, this is my list for now.
Good list man. Hearts I'll be reading before the end of the year. I'll be putting my top ten list on here at the end of the year ( like you though I haven't read all his novels and many need re-reads its been so long ) I'll also be giving you my top ten books I've read this year ( you should do your own video on your best of this year man ) I agree though with the drawing of the three being easily one of the best King novels out there.
I've always loved The Long Walk. The psychology, friendship between the boys and the fact that the horror in this one is human nature - nothing supernatural.
Great choices, I pretty much agree with you on all of them however, I would have to work Needful Things in there somehow. That one is my favorite, I love the way the characters all had to play out little tasks against each other and then literally all Hell breaks loose, so good!
I gotta say doctor sleep surpassed my love of the shining, very rare for a sequel to do that, and I'm probably mostly alone here but it's the truth lol
I'll do my top ten too since ours is so different 😁 10. Pet Sematary 9. Cujo 8. Gerald's Game 7.The Institue 6. Thinner 5. Dolores Claiborne 4. The Shining 3. Carrie 2. The Long Walk 1. Firestarter I still have a lot to read yet so this might change as I go on😊

I tried to tell people that he writes other books that are not horror and that 11/22/63 is one of them. That time travel book is sooo good. But most are turned off on how big it is :(
@@theloveofreading3563 I'm reading Brandon Sanderson Stormlight Archice. I'm on Book 3 Oathbringer and his books are huge. He keeps the "ball rolling" as you say and it doesnt feel like a long read.
@@turtleanton6539 I have it on my shelf :) I need to finish Oathbringer first though. I'm getting frustrated because it's going so slow. Chapter after chapter He just keeps getting rejected by everyone and its all very frustrating. The voidbringers are confusing me as well. I'm stuck on chapter 25.
I tried reading hearts in Atlantis before the dark tower books and was confused I'll go back and read it again now I've read the dark tower and know who the Crimson king is
There was a small Christine Easter egg in 11/22/63 as the car in that novel was a 1958 Plymouth Fury. The year Epping travels to. His books are full of them I'm sure I missed hundreds.
Omg your top 10 looks alike like mine! 22/11/63 and Wizard and Glass are my favorite King's books Did you read Doctor Sleep already? I'm currently reading (and loving) it
@@theloveofreading3563 I don’t know why he decided to add another separate set of antagonists rather than building on the paranormal aspects of the shining
Hell no! Sanderson is the McDonalds of fiction writing VERY popular and not much value. Poor writing. Only for those who don't know better. Check out Peter McCammon's "Swan Song" and "Boy Story" and ANYTHING by Joe ABERCROMBIE.
Great list, dude. I was a little shocked to see Desperation on there, b/c that is in MY top ten. No one else puts Desperation in their top ten. But ... ummm ... where is IT and THE STAND?? Also, great job on the single take. That's a lot harder to do than people realize.

Dude you must have one of the (if not the) best top 10 SK videos. Very to the point and solid short description of each book. Subscribed :)
The enthusiasm you bring to your video is terrific. Keep it up
Really happy someone else loves duma key as much as I do! I don’t hear people talk about it much. One of my favourite King books!
Very underrated. He has tons of gems no one talks about too much, Revival especially
That moment you thought for sure #1 was the Stand but wasn't. Great video, and appreciate the no-spoilers! Cheers fellow King fans
Dude your personality is so likable! You should be a radio or podcast host or something! You earned a subscriber
