Bruh if you're referring to sophia, then idk what to tell you. Sophia has the passion and emotion, it's just shadowed by her technique.

Maddie got second place to a little girl named Eva Igo, she dances at Larkin Dance which is an incredible studio. Larkin also got 1st against them for the group dance and Taylor Sieve from Larkin placed 1st to Brooke as well.

I think maddie would have a great fan-base someday even without dance moms. you can see she was born to dance.and versatility is amazing.
She did really good people who don't care are just mad that they can do that she is a really good dance that's how she is on a tv show which is dance mom aka abby lee dance company

Maddie's versatility is incredible. She is the best at tap and lyrical in the group, she can also perform this type of contemporary piece, as well as jazz and she could perform a ballet solo if she had to. She isn't too bad at acro either. Not that she'd get all these types of solos, but I'm just saying, she is such a talented all-round dancer.I dont know why, but I am more intrigued in Maddie's solos than Sophia. Though Sophia is amazingly terrific in her own right.
I love all of Maddie solos, she has improved SO much! It's very mature!
I understand why you'd say its too rushed, there was one part where it was a little fast, but apart from that, I thought this solo was amazing. I'll wait till it airs but I think this is one of my favourite Maddie solos. I think the choreography is really good, its fast and more complicated than what Maddie usually has, and it works. I don't really care what everyone else has to say, I love this. I love Maddie. She is so amazing. Really, really, really good.
Everyone is saying how they hate the choreography and it's really bad, but I thought it was great. This doesn't seem like a typical "Maddie solo" and I thought she pulled it off wonderfully. And her turns in the beginning were AMAZING!! This is definitely one of my favorite solos that she's done. Do you know who beat her?

I love this solo! Finally, some variety from Maddie (for a long time, all of her dances looked identical). Her fouettes are lovely in this (although the attitude pirouette wasn't great), and even though you can't see her face, you get the emotion from the way she moves. I'm not a fan of Maddie as a dancer, but this solo was just amazing :D

I actually really like this solo, I think it's different than what she normally does but it's challenging her more as dancer which is great!

I agree the only reason they go to 'competitions that invite weak' is because there the only competitions that allow them to film. Plus they don't necessarily 'invite weak' because Club Dance Studio (Search them there amazing) go to In10sity all the time and Dance Presisions (Search them as well) go to Starpower. ALDC are so much better as we see on TV. As we see^^. Plus theres more people in ALDC than them 7 girls.
Everyone who is hating on maddie your wrong! If you look up behind the scenes videos you will see all the girls hanging out like normal little girls. The show just makes her look bad just like they do with Abby. They do that to make it interesting! So stop hating on a little girl! So what if she is good or not she was still blessed with a gift that a lot of people wish they had and she is just sharing her gift and doing what she loves!
This is my favourite Maddie solo! Its so different from what she usually does, and she danced it with passion. This dance is very powerful

I find it very funny That many haters and some ppl in general keep saying that the show only invites weak , bad dance studios to compete against them when they go to invitation only competitions that they film at ! It's like ALDC girls win only BCUZ they have weak competitions and invite only weak dance studios to compete against them so they can win more !! BUT THEY DON'T !! Look they invited the Larkin dance studio to this comp AND THAT STUDIO IS ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST IN MINNESOTA!!

This is the next weeks episode THE 2 hour long episode whoooohoooo !! Maddie rocks ! She's IMPROVED SOOOO MUCH IN HER LATEST DANCES THAT R FAN FILMED ON YT THAT HAVEN'T AIRED YET SHE DANCES SO SO SOO MUCH BETTER. , YOU'D THINK IT WAS SOPHIA LUCIA ,, there's this dance of Maddies that she competed 1-2 weeks ago < unaired yet on the show ) it's filmed by cellphone so the quality isn't that great and Maddie has Sophia's hairdo and when she was dancing her turns and jumps even looked like Sophia's
I love watching Maddie dance! But everyone stop comparing her to Chloe. I would love to see her do something other than lyrical or conteporary.
A good dancer is good at more then 2 dance types and loves a challange. Luv u maddie!

I love it maddie has improved SOO much ! BUT IM REALLY UPSET CUZ CHLOE DUDNT HAVE A SOLO FOR ALMOST 2 months now :( so I guess she'll on be in groups this season I know she has a solo in this upcoming episode episode 3 and that's it ;(
Dont ever quit! It takes lots of hard work and dedication to become great at anything! Anybody can be great at whatever they want if they set their mind to it! :) I am 18 years old and I started dance when I was 9, which is kind of late, people usually start at 2 or 3 and I doubt I will ever be as good as Maddie! But I am certainly still going to try! Don't give up :)
OMG Guys do you know what unaired means!! It means that it has not been on tv YET. Not that it is never going to be on tv. This was posted months ago! So it was unaired! Jeez -_- but btw this was amazing

dont give up!! I danced from the age of 6 to 13, and I quit because I got bullied at my studio for not being skinny/cool/as good as the other girls, so I quit. it's one of the biggest regrets I have, don't worry about comparing yourself to others all you can do is focus on yourself and do what you love! I just started dancing again and I'm 18! it's never too late. I always wish I could go back and change my decision but I can't, don't make the same mistake I did!!

I'm from MN and our competitions are fierce! They did okay. I don't think it was their best comp. though :/

they should do that for all the girls. How many tap solos have we seen from Maddie on the show? Nia should do more lyrical and contemporary. along with the ones she is already good at. Why not throw in a Musical theater dance or two. ALL the girls need variety imo. People are used to seeing Chloe do a dark dance but I am kinda glad that Maddie is doing one becuase for awhile her dances seemed the same.
Remember during the jeoffery scene, the judge told her to take a pause... I think she needs to. I loved this solo though!!

I know of a couple studios I used to dance in that competed in this Minnesota In10sity invitational and wanted to see if I knew any of the dancers or studios that placed. But thanks for replying with the ALDC girls' results- always good info to know :)
I know a lot of people will want to hate my comment but please don't because i'm just saying my opinion. So, for me... this was not Maddie's best solo. She still had flawless technique and beautiful legs and arms. But, I feel like she was really rushing through this dance. I feel as if she didn't take a break to really go through one movement. But I still think this dance placed 1st because she was still amazing ;)
This whole dance seemed kinda rushed with no pauses, but she's still phenomenal.
Maddie's legs are getting so long it makes her dancing even prettier to watch!

Maddie was ripped off with this dance SHE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN 1st hands down not 2nd !!! I don't think anyone can beat her in this solo maybe only Sophia Lucia but with Maddie rapid and beyond amazing improvements latelly I think Sophia should watch out hahah !
Evie, are you a Larkin dancer? We have Studio L here in New Jersey. Larkin is phenominal! I imagine they would top ALDC in all categories. One of the best dance schools in the country. Another great school is Strickly Rythem in Virginia.

I AGREE! and i feel like chloe would have done a better job--we can't see from the filming but i bet maddie has her silly scared dance face on, which is completely inappropriate for this piece.

This isn't against maddie, she's an amazing little dancer, but I really HATED this choreography. It felt so rushed! I mean maddie did great with what she was given, but she was given in my opinion bad choreography. I kept waiting for a beat, but there wasn't one choreographed in...
Hang on... so Chloe can perform a Maddie-type sad lyrical piece and she is so amazing, but Maddie can't to dark Chloe pieces.
I thought Maddie was flawless, and no offense, probably more sharp and perfect than Chloe would've done it. IDK. my opinion...
I'm twelve and i just started taking jazz. I'm really depressed because after watching this video i know i will never be able to do any of that and won't even be nearly as good :( She's probably been dancing since she was like 2 and i know it takes years to become a master at dance. I really just wanna give up. Should i? Please someone help i'm really sad :(
