The Loktev ensemble are without equal in the world. They even do the national dances of other countries better than those countries usually do themselves.
It boggles the mind for how much effort was applied to combining all the individual dances into one big production requiring participation by everyone on stage. It has been a year, and the world has gone through so much, but I wonder (without me wanting an answer) if the performers are aware the fruits of their labors are available for the world to view. But then again, why would they be looking for praise unless they were the lead performer needing encouragement or praise. IMO they KNOW they did a good job. As the audience shouted out, bravo. (Universal word? or am I picking up Russian? LOL) Waxing poetic (I think that is a proper phrase), I wonder what road the performers take later on in life. But it is only a year since, and I could ask the same of dancers from 2014. Probably every road, except living in some remote village high in the mountains.
