I don't speak the language or have any idea what they are singing and dancing about but all I can say is that the whole experience is utterly magical! Bravo!

I love that they include younger children in their acts...just amazing...ther are naturally born singers and dancers...listen to that choir...fascinating

Yes, and no politics affecting the arts and sports. No prejudice because of politics and country. All only want to do their best in what they most enjoy and want only to bring us enormous joy.
I first saw this type of dancing at Wimbledon Theatre in London, in 1971/2 when Ukrainian dancers were there for a week. Hardly surprising the dancing is the same if, as I read, the people are the same ethnicity. Only the politics are different.
I had a ticket for near the centre front of the stalls, so a quite good view. The entire audience clapped and called "encore" so much at the end and after every encore called for yet more, not thinking how exhausted the dancers must be. Not being deliberately selfish but we had not seen anything so wonderful before. After coming back on stage maybe 5 times, a man came out and told us they had danced all evening and really couldn't anymore, so they appreciated we liked them so much but they really couldn't do another encore. We all fell silent with shamed looks on our faces at our selfishness in keep demanding more when they had already given us so much.
I managed to buy another ticket for the stalls for later in the week to watch them again. This time the man told us before the dancing begun that there would be no encores as it was a lot of hard work and they needed to rest. I imagine though that many people went to see them more than once that week.
We must not allow this wonderful traditional, most skilled and beautiful dancing to ever be lost by bankers wars and their controlled opposition politics. I wish with all my heart that the dancers of Russia and the dancers of the Ukraine could join together in spectaculars of 'dancing for peace', to send the banksters and the world the message that everyone only wants to live and let live, in peace and enough comfort. I know that with things as they are it is almost certainly impossible for dancers of both countries to join together to do that, but still I wish it could be done.
