- Join along as we tour Vaqueria Fallon in Cayey Puerto Rico. As farmer Juan Carlos shows us around the operation consisting of 80 milking cows on 130 acres of hill side grazing, then right into their cheese making operation. From there we venture into plantain operation consisting of over 12k trees. Huge thanks to the family for letting us stop in and see the farm operation make sure to check them out on social media.

Fascinating! I always love visiting any farm I can to see the different ways they get it done. I was a service tech for a dairy equipment company until 2017 and that was my favorite part
I have spent time in Puerto Rico and your day was just ordinary with the locals. They are FANTASTIC hosts. They are so loving and generous. You got to see the real Puerto Rico. And we treated them like crap after the hurricanes. Love your vid's.
Really like the video very interesting thanks . I guess in general farmers are good people no matter where you go
Thank you for sharing farming in Puerto Rico. My parents are from there. I hope to eventually buy some land and have my own little farm.
Thanks Chris for taking us along and thank you Katie for translating. As always a great video peeking into your life.
That was an awesome tour. Such a friendly person and willing to share info. Glad to see you are having an awesome trip
I grew up not too far from this farm and they are really nice people and humble people in Cayey P.R
That was amazing, one of the BEST video’s I have ever watched!! It’s amazing how farmers can come together!!! My parents went to Mexico 20 years ago and saw cows out in the field and stopped to ask questions and are still friends with them today!! They have come up to Canada to see our farm!!! Keep the video coming!!
Amazing video it's great seeing how other countries and areas farm
You got a really lucky and good find just by asking what type of cheese a restaurant was using
Really like your new intro. And enjoy your channel. Nice to see someone working hard for what they have.
Thanks for the tour. This is awesome 👌 🙏🏾
Thanks for the tour. Cool for sure
Thanks for introducing us to farming in another part of the world.
Seems as a happy, proud farmer. Thank you for sharing.
Great video. Love the different things you do and discover. Thanks for sharing.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you both for sharing this with all of us.
OUTSTANDING CHRIS...Very enjoyable and educational, THANK YOU !
It takes 9 months for a banana 🍌 plant to fruit, there are lots of varieties of banana in Puerto Rico, the seeds are the shoots coming out of the plant, you can eat green or ripe. I have all types of banana, including red banana, plantains are grown on hills because the soil needs to drain, the pepper you ate is a sweet pepper used for cooking, Island hospitality is the best.
Very Cool experience visiting that farm! 👍
This is such an awesome interesting video, thanks for sharing.

And they will give you their all because you did
Thank u Duffy for a very good video on your vacation. It's always interesting about ag in other countries.
This was awesome to watch
Really enjoyed this video
Very enterprising guy... hard worker.
Enjoyed the visit to the farm. A Lot more physical labor versus mechanical supplemented labor. And like most small farms it is family oriented offering local products to local eateries.
Interesting video 💪🏻🏴

Very interesting.
Good video, well done with varied content, thanks to interpeter.
The mounds you see is that when they fertilize the the plants. They put dirt over the furtiliser so it doesn't wash away.
That was great. I have always wondered how bananas are grown. Awesome video and beautiful country.
Some of my favorite cheese. Steak Quesadilla or stuffed corn tortillas(2) with that cheese in between...good stuff.
Doing it right.gotta get outVaca. Love ur content .. some that old Delavan stuff looked like my old stuff.especially the parlor. Just figured out can see u on u tube on my TV. 🥴
Plantain seeds are called suckers. I plant my seeds with an auger. I have 10 acres in the town of Utuado, PR with plantain and citrus fruits. Awesome video! Thank you for creating good content.
I have farms in the philippines . We have banana trees and pineapples which grow suckers at bottom of the main plants . Usually 3 for banana and 8 for pineapples. You can also cut the underground roots and plant each as a tree.
Kerry Gold in Peurto Rico . Irish butter must travel well 😄🍀
GOOD VID..
Good tour. Dairy farm was interesting but the plantain was very net, I have never seen them grown before.
That was great!! It is very different there but it's still the United States. Amazing how people are nice where ever you find them.

I might have missed it but how old was those banana trees? & how long do they last or replant ? Super cool farm !!!
DAMN Katie!!
I thought for a second you were going to fix the kuboto 😂😂
It’s the same everywhere Farmers are creative and resourceful. Whenever possible they prefer to work on there own stuff, to save money. I’ve never had plantains, but I’m Mexican not Puerto Rican 😂
Looks like a bazillion starfish pepper i grew them this year
Cool farm! I'm guessing its not possible to ship cheese if a fella were to buy some from his family's farm.
The ag part of the trip or the tax wright off part of the trip😉😉
Driving around on vacation is called siteseeing 🤣😅😆

He said he got the banana trees from the Dominican Republic.
Hi. you might be the banana farmer, maybe a little cold where you live 👌🐄🍌
You cut the plant to harvest the bananas.
Very interesting video only thing I never liked was I cant understand what he saying is he saying something about me lol
Puerto Rico is part of the USA
Other country 🤣
Bit quick buddy, slow down.🙄
Puerto Rico indigenous americans Arawak Tainos island located in the greater Antilles in Central America in the Atlantic Caribbean sea original indigenous name is the island of BORIKEN in Arawak Taino indigena dialect it means the highest good strong God island today today Puerto Rico is not a country this island is a United States property territory since 1898 the island was a Spain Colony for more than 500 years
When you talking to Spanish person that doesn't know a lot English you have to talk slow
