I remember, many years ago, watching a shy, long haired guy with a moustache, singing Sweet Baby James on the Johnny Cash show... it was, of course, the amazing James Taylor. The song blew me away and I have been a fan ever since.
I love James Taylor! I have listened to and loved his music for decades. I have had the good fortune to see him perform live a few times. If you have the chance to go to his show, do it as it will uplift and inspire you. ✨️
Love James!! I was fortunate to see him in Vegas a few years ago. He put on an awesome show! A life highlight after listening to him for so many years.
I saw him live for the first time last November in Germany, it was without a doubt a brilliant concert, a fantastic evening 🤩💖 I hope I’ll get another chance to see him perform live 🙏🏻
I've noticed in his last 2 appearances on here, his sort of halting speech pattern. Funny he doesn't do that when singing. Maybe he's just choosing his words carefully. 🤔
What an icon!
We’ve loved this guy and his music for generations.
So cool that he’s such a charming and funny guy as well.
1:05 that artist appreciation moment between two guitarists was heartfelt ❤️

as a longtime Western MA resident and Tanglewood attendee it's wicked funny to hear it compared to Vegas.

Repetitive hard work or not... I'd spend a summer as his roadie in a minute flat.
Me too, and I'm 60 years old!
@@blaiseutube Me too, and I'm way older than you!
Warning; sex, drug, and RnR ain’t what it used to be….
I'd do it for free pizza!🥰🥰🥰
Take me with you!
JT is Joy personified….
And a nicer guy you could never meet.
Stephen missed the setup to answer "You've got a friend" to the last line in the segment.
What was the song they played as he was coming out?
Montana. It's from his album Before This World
Didn't he confirm it with Louis as Pat Metheny's song, "James"?
@Jeff Clement The song 'James' was played earlier in the show. I'm pretty sure when JT was walking out they played his song 'Montana'
@@jamie_finnegan Thanks!

How I was in Girl Scout Magazine?
So much got done after Elon Musk was in my head March 2021 on.
James Taylor -- Aren't these the same clothes he wears everywhere? Hope he washes them once in a while.

I do agree it seems he is being careful. But also, his breathing patterns are affecting his speech - and definitely not his singing!
I think James should retire. He seems so tired and his musical history and legacy is huge. That should be enough.
Well said, Kava.
He is still great live, I seen him a few months ago and he was great
@@jamie_finnegan His concerts are flawless ... he has never stopped being relevant.
Now a days, JT looks more like a Dubliner in a pub than a 'Vegas guy!' Slainte!
I saw him forty years ago for under ten bucks
Can anyone say couple hundred million for James?
