2024 was a great year for indie games, and this channel! I've reached over 7,050 subscribers which makes this my best year yet! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, and I hope you look forward to another great year of covering indies!
Wanderstop, freeride, paralives... Yeah, i am not that much into jrpgs. But i am most intrigued by both blue prince and clair obscur, really looking forward to them now. Even though the latter one seems a bit to good to be true... But keeping fingers crossed!
Thank you! Last year I did more of a conscience top 20 list but this year I wanted to do a list that's mostly the games I think look good. I'm glad people like this style!
I'm legitimately excited for your game! I typically do not like 3d platformers with 2d sprite based characters (namely because I feel like the flat sprites make it too hard to judge depth) but your game looks like it handles it well. Definitely going to be a day 1 purchase! Keep up the good work!
@ Thank you! We really had to figure out how make Ruffy controllable in the 3D space. He has got two shadows now, one is always straight under him (position), the other comes from the sun and shows his height. Also you can hover being carried by your bee for a precise landing. Hope you will enjoy it!
Thanks a lot for bringing this games, New games added to my list: Sushi Den; OPUS: Prism Peak; The Starbites; Kitsune: The journey of Adashino and Abyss x Zero (im a fanboy of Megaman Legends like games). Thanks for the video and hoping more news of indie games in 2025! Happy Holydays!
16:11 I want more "Zelda-likes with parkour", as I have trouble finding satisfying top-down movement. Don't really know why, but I'd rather play 2D/2.5D platformers more engaging in topdown than sidescrolling (and don't get me started on isometric which is its own thing).
2025 looks like another great year for indie gaming, I'm really fordward to maybe be able to play: Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 Angeline Era The localization of Stray Children Rune Fencer Illya Ratatan Opus Prism Peak The little tomb Psycho Patrol R Urban Myth Dissolution Center And maybe Hollow Knight Silkong...
Yeah! We got smash hits like: Balatro Indigo Park AntonBlast Diesel Legacy Black Myth: Wukong Palworld Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore Rivals 2 Wild Bastards Vampire Survivors Beserk Boy Crowsworn Anger Foot Mullet Mad Jack Decline's Drops And BEARS IN SPACE!
2024 truly has been a great year for indie (and also AA) games. I was trying to put a list together a few days ago and I just kept adding more and more, it was crazy.
Hey, do you have the systems each of these are for or if they're PC exclusives? So many of these look amazing! I always like a balance between triple/double A and indie ❤
All of them are at least coming to PC. Off the top of my head I know Eternal Strands and Expedition 33 are coming to PS5 and Xbox, Ruffy and the Riverside is coming to Switch. Often the case with indies these days is that they release on PC first and then get a console release later.

I am glad you are growing.
Epic vid bro, lots of interesting picks that I hadn't heard of
My favorite thing to do is share cool looking games with people who may not have heard of them, so I'm glad I was able to do that for you.
Great video! Definitely added some of these to my wishlist,,,
Awesome, which ones?
