That's a great harvest for the hottest part of summer! We are in a similar climate but in Australia so while we are in winter now I totally understand the difficulties of growing through that intense heat. Hope the shade cloth helps and you can limp everything through until the weather cools off a bit.
Thanks! We have at least another month of this dry heat and then hopefully I’ll have some luck growing through fall! What are your winters like in Australia? Are you able to still garden through it?
@@herhomeandharvestyes we can grow through winter here. The growth slows down dramatically but it still works. If you go even 15mins further inland from where we live though you get consistent frosts so are more restricted in what will grow.
