It's not enough of a point deduction. If you want the fans to police themselves it needs to be a significant point deduction for them to care considering it's a hate crime. For me it's a 10 point deduction and home fan ban for 2 matches at the very least. And then obviously the authorities following up on the incidents and letting the courts deal with the perpetrators.

From what I am seeing Spanish FA are not willing to impose sanction on clubs and fans that practise this racist act. Going forward I think Africans and south American countries should ban streaming Spanish league in their countries. And players should start snubbing transfers to La Liga. Racism has gotten better in Spanish football. Back in the 70s or 80s it was mostly just a give in that you would be racially abused even if you were not a good player.

Interested in people's opinion. How about this ? When your fans do this sort of thing, you get two points deducted on the league. It's easy enough to make statements and "progress". This is happening way too often and leagues in Europe MUST act. Two point penalty for this sort of disgusting display from fans. Maybe with this kind of consequences, will we start seeing progress.
It's not enough of a point deduction. If you want the fans to police themselves it needs to be a significant point deduction for them to care considering it's a hate crime. For me it's a 10 point deduction and home fan ban for 2 matches at the very least. And then obviously the authorities following up on the incidents and letting the courts deal with the perpetrators.
