Hey, that's the Adam I corresponded with when I could not initially get the dealer in my country to bring in YSS for the CRF. He was so helpful with my queries. Been using the YSS front (enduro) and rear, and its been great for my trail riding in Malaysia. Cheers mate.

Great video! Honda really dropped the ball in the suspension department with the 300l. I am sure I am a bit jaded coming off of a 2017 Yamaha WR450 but putting 30 year old suspension components on a new bike is ridiculous.

Mate, I have just finished season two Brisbane to Cairns and the feel of the bike was absolutely amazing.

Is there a chart for determining which fork springs to get with the YSS fork cartridge upgrade?

Really good vid. Thanks for all the info 🙂 How did you find the seat height once it was all installed? I'm considering exactly the same "for lowering" setup.

I found it to be perfect. Gave me a lot more confidence to hit the harder trails as I could get my feet comfortably down. It feels like a completely different bike 👍 I have also just finished season two Brisbane to cairns and didn’t feel broken at the end of every day 😅

@@TrailChaser-Oz sounds good. Did you find the seat height remained about the same as stock? Or was it taller?

How long did you wait for your 300L

I was very lucky as I only had to wait 4 weeks. But keep in mind that most people have placed their orders in over a year and when the bike arrives their circumstances have changed and can’t purchase so you can find one on the floor of a shop ready to go.

After watching your video I bought a YSS shock and fork kit. I really feel like it was a waste of money. The rear shock heats up and fades badly. The front fork kit cannot be installed without YSS special tools that are NOT included with the kit. The instructions for fork install are incomplete and the YSS website is useless. If you own a crf300l I highly recommend looking elsewhere for suspension components.

I’m sorry to hear. Did you have a chat to Adam and informed him on the weight on the bike loaded? As I have put mine through some tough punishment and it hasn’t let me down. As for the forks, I’m unable to comment as I took my forks in to YSS to have them installed due to not being a suspension specialist. I’m sure if you give Adam a call, he would be more than happy to help you.

@@TrailChaser-Oz i was able to figure out the installation for the fork kit and am happy with the front forks and the added adjustability the rear shock still leaves a lot to be desired. The rear shock fades quickly as it heats up .

@@user-se7vt5ow4e I’m glad to hear you sorted the forks out. Please have a chat with Adam at suspension R US and I’m sure he will help you sort it out. 👍

@@user-se7vt5ow4e I will and only recommend things I have used and that have met the expectations of intended purpose with good support from sellers.
One of the big reasons we have done an in-depth episode regarding suspensions, is because I personally have spent hours trolling through RUclips regarding suspension upgrades and couldn’t find something that gave me the full options with the pricing to have a clear understanding of what I wanted and could afford.
I’m also about to release a special episode regarding ECU upgrades as we have just installed a stage 3 upgrade and might I say I’m very pleased with the power it has delivered. Once again it will have all the stages and pricing.
