The wedges are not magnetic, the template is on the wheel permanenetly. Yes, SpinningDesigns did make the wedges. When I purchased a "Permanent custom Graphic wheel" from them, they asked for a image of the Wheel Template that I wanted on there, so I sent them an image of the 1986-1996 round 4 template. Then they recreated the graphic for the Wheel that I purchased.
