Look, we all agree that the voice acting was bad, really bad, but give the VA a break. He is Belgian with Greek heritage, whose mother language isn't English, who's not a professional VA and who was given that role as a gift/reward for doing most of the music for the game. Plus, his voice acting here has the so bad it's good charm. Give the man a break.

@@vaggos2003 I remember he also revealed that the direction he was given was kind of poor, in the sense that he had to match the facial movements of the previous actor(s) for the motion capture and rendering process to more easily fit his face onto the model. So, the focus was less on his delivery of the lines and more so his ability to match and mimic the movements of the others.
Ronda Rousey's voice work is much worse, and she was the base template for MK11's Sonya. I, again, chalk that up to poor direction by the audio team in the sound booth. Compare to the performance of professional actors Bridgette and Linden for their portrayals of Sonya and Johnny's movie skins, respectively.

Its hilarious, but it's a reminder of how incredible voice actors are at their jobs, how good they sound an in the moment. He sounds like he's reading the lines off a list. I'm sure despite of knowing how corny he sounds I would sound the same despite my efforts to sound cool
He’s not an actor though DeMentri Vegas is a DJ that work on the games soundtrack that asked for this skin as a joke and NRS did it anyways. He’s also Belgian man whose first language isn’t English so he should get some slack

Fuck that, if I got called up to do VO for a video game franchise this popular, even if I was a shit voice actor, I'd do whatever editing I could to make it sound presentable and not like this. I'd use audio pitch editing software if I had to then just give them the edited files.

As far as I recall the Spanish localization for this had like two of his lines undubbed and then the rest was just the default Sub-Zero lines.
He's Drahmin, before becoming Drahmin. Thats what he got for playing Among us in real life with sub-zero.
On "character customization" screen you can choose between 2 unmasked version of subzero in "masks" item selection. 1 is normal voice of sub-zero another for dmitri vegas

Edit: The reason why I say Dimitri is better is because he's just an alt skin that is optional, and English was his 4th(?) Language. Meanwhile, Megan is the ONLY voice for Nitara and MK1, and she has no excuses other than pure laziness, so yes, Dimitri is better due to his circumstances against Megan's
