Connor’s welds look great for a relatively new welder. Great job! And props to you for having him in the shop working and learning a great skill that can be used the rest of his life! Can’t wait to see more of this build!
Hey Ant! Man, you are rrally bustin' a hump on this rig! It looks killer. The designs you've come up with are really fantastic! Not only functional, but look killer too!!!
This thing is turning out awesome! Those semi tires are made from a harder rubber compound, they're gonna last forever on the little truck lol. I've always been told that those bags are designed to be ran at an angle like that and it's fine. Some guys are running them at crazy angles!
Love the progress, too bad about the water outlets, will be interesting to see how you work that out. Conner is doing great, love to see young guys get involved in any kind of fabrication/welding or any of the trades that have built our nation! Countdown is on for this rig to make the trip to SEMA!!
I'm not stressing over the water outlets to much I already have some ideas and yes I have a countdown clock on my phone and the day are falling of fast!
Definitely subbed! I'm building a dually 1950 studebaker truck myself and I love the cartoon look to yours! I'll be using mine for towing so can't go nuts with mine. Keep up the great work!
I was one of the people commenting about the front bags…. Looks great at ride height. I think the front end of my full-size Chevy will bind a bag more than that. I figured you had thought about it, but you never know man. Things looking awesome!
Gonna b a cool truck for sure! Steel rubber is definitely the place to get rubber for these old got rods. I made a mistake on my nova and tried to cheap out on windshield seals and they would fit so I called steel rubber and got a set from them and fit perfectly
Nice job man! I agree the angle of the bags probably isn’t a big deal and probably not much different than the angle of airbags on control arm front suspension
under that front air bag you could change the top of the frame (where the bag sits on) to be parallel with the pivoting arm. That way the bag is not bent. would be less work that making a pivoting head.
Maybe drill holes thru the frame and sleeve them to run your heater hoes thru and what about running the newer super single rims and tires on the back I think that would be bad a$$ but the duels work to but keep the video's coming
Thanks for showing H&B at ride height and the explanation. I guess I needed the visual, not as much angle as I thought so the "wear out" factor because of the angle makes sense. My guess was about a 4" ride height. That is going to be a very cool ride, well done!
Anthony, great fabrication skills, I know you said you don't have to problem with how the Bags look when it is at 4" or ride height. I agree, but what if the Bags were level at ride height 4" and tilted the opposite direction when on the ground? I'm not sure if that would work if you "just change the angle" of the Bag mount on the arm. Just a thought. I'm really liking the process. 😎👍
@@speedbuggy16v Yes, wonky but with no air pressure, so I would say that it is a good thing. I'm glad I explained that in a way so you could understand.😎👍
Hi Anthony, just revisiting your H & B project and saw where you were asking about Mirror mounts. Probably a bit late now, but thought what about making new mounts from sheet material, piercing them with H & B symbols reflecting the front suspension aspect, ie holes etc. using the existing body hard point mounts? Bit of continuity?
I haven’t watched the next video yet to see if u fixed the water pump problem. Ict billet makes adapters to run a bbc electric water pump. See if that might resolve it. Just my .02
There is a huge antique car swap meet in Springfield, Missouri Aug 20-22 if you are looking for hard to find parts for one of your builds. I’ve seen you use air horns on a couple builds now, I have 3 sets that I’m not using.

Another great video, Anthony you are killing it on the subscribers, later buddy
If you chop off the tubes for the heater hoses and find 2 90 degree bend tubes, you can weld them on and have enough clearance
Just found your channel, and I’ve just one question: where have you been all my life??? Instant sub, great work!
LOL Welcome aboard!
He awesome guy so funny
Can’t wait to it finished
It's coming along nicely. Another great video 👍👍🇨🇱

@@HardCoreFab my projects are boring compared to yours lol

It.s look.n good
looking great

Love the build. Not a fan of the little tires up front. I'm glad is looking like you want it to though I just don't share your vision on this one.
This looks so cool
Thanks!
Love the videos keep up the great work

so then the bag is setting wonky when its parked which will be 90 % of its life or more.....
@@speedbuggy16v Yes, wonky but with no air pressure, so I would say that it is a good thing.
I'm glad I explained that in a way so you could understand.😎👍
I appreciate the input but I'm calling that part done. If in the future it is an issue I can always readdress it than.
Nice job, but i would definately repair that semi wheel before use .......ya just never know.
Better make sure Conner is at S.E.M.A. with you. He'll remember that
He's to young this year but next year we'll see if we can get him in.
lookin good
Very cool... curious about Old Crow. What's the status on it ?
Mostly waiting in the wind for now. Connor has been doing some stuff here and there we will do an update when we get some more done.
BAD A$$ ride. The front end looks great!!
Should run a super single instead of the duals imo
I had thought about it at one point but I like the look of duals on a wrecker. I'm sure something will get super singles in the future.
It would actually be relatively easy to re design that too mount to make it pivot and not add any height to it at all.
Anything is doable but this is how I did it this time
Fuck yeah looks great.
Like what you are doing can't wait to see it done ,do you sell the plates you made for the articulating front end .
That maybe something we do in the in the future
Da'Bomb 💣..

That sounds cool but time is not on my side
When doing mig welding i know there is so many techniques like zig zag or making small a small c with torch what method do you prefer
I haven’t watched the next video yet to see if u fixed the water pump problem. Ict billet makes adapters to run a bbc electric water pump. See if that might resolve it. Just my .02
I didn't know that. That's good to know. Thanks!
How many hrs do you think that you have in this build? Your creativity is great.
Hmm Idk if I was guessing about 400 so far and a long way to go!
What do you think about using dimple dies on the some of the seen suspension holes?
I don't think it needs them for strength but they would definitely look cool. I would totally do it if I had some that would work on 3/16 plate.
Be cool to put super single tires on rear
I had thought about it at one point but I like the look of duals on a wrecker. I'm sure something will get super singles in the future.
i think the front tire will fit inside the back tire
LOL almost they're 25 inches tall.

I thought I heard something a while back about a trailer for ol crow?
Yeah I still have a killer Idea for that! I will happen at some point.
I think you can get lower profile rubber for 22.5s lol
Maybe just buy a box of rubber bands. LOL
Can I buy a set of the cantilever parts that you made minis the name cut out of course? Thanks
