- Hi guys, this video is about my recent flight to Dubai on Emirates, this was a day flight which departed at 12:15 (CAI time) and arrived at 18:00 (DXB time).
The VIP lounge in Cairo was one of the worst lounges i've ever visited, seating was okay but food and toilets were horrible.
Lounge staff was very friendly though.
The plane, the seat, the flight attendants and the excellent food, I would rate it a solid 7.

Nice video! I'm booked on the same flight in October. I'm confused, though, are there first class seats or are they all business at the front? A perfect view of the engine on takeoff too! :)
This was a 2-class configured 777, my inbound flight to Cairo was a 3-class configured 777 with first class.
Thanks for your reply. Interesting as there seems to be a lot of variation in configuration with the flights to and from CAI. Initially I was in the night flight which has the new F suites, but I had to change to a day flight which has the old F in the 2-2-2 layout. I'm hoping they'll change it back to the proper A380 style suites before my flight..! :)
I heard that the F suites on the 777 are better and more spacious than the A380 F suites. If you fly J on EK, it's wise to avoid the 777 (if you can) the A380 J seats are superior but I think that service on the 777 has a more personal touch though.

No unfortunately not, only the A380s have that.
I see, the 2-3-2 configuration again. When I fly business with Emirates, i don't wanna sit in the middle. What do you think about it?
Yes it isn't that great on the 777
It's good if you're travelling with family/friends
But the A380 has the 1-2-1 herringbone layout with direct aisle access which is the best!
Well.., I think an airline like Emirates should have lie flat seats with direct aisle access on all of their planes. I always pick a window seat when I fly.

Know what I find weird. Emirates always seem to have the cleanest planes, and they always seem to have the most beautiful sounding engines!

Emirates' ICAO code is UAE and it's IATA code is EK.

somehow i dont like a flight review in bussiness cabin, because usually they direct the camera to the wing and its very bored, i love to see the view from the window, not see the wing especially the engine

UAE is the ICAO code, EK is the IATA code.
