Surprisingly, my Viola erupted in the spring with new growth! I didn't get the chance to clear out all my flower beds last winter of old, withered plants. This spring, all the Violas re-flowered in April. Boy, am I glad I didn't rip everything out in November! How many years can I expect them to resuscitate themselves?
