AMAZING footage of Antonio & Rosa's family land and that waterfall WOW as they live off the land that they own. Out in other countries they would be considered extremely rich to have that much land, yet they live simply. They are a family that sticks together no matter how big the family grows in numbers... That is a true family unit.
I truly hope that the big companies do not come in (over time) and cut down their forest and all the trees around them.

I could scarcely believe that the whole road was paved! I that part of the selva! It would have been just unheard of when I was there. The best you could hope for was that the oil companies would have sprayed the road down with wasyte oil to keep the dust down and protect the surface for light rain. My heart aches for la tierra de mi juventude and I am so happy that YOU get to enjoy mi Ecuador. If you can remember the road from Quito to Tumbaco and the beautiful geological formation on that road I call the hairpin. You can almost see that this is where the planet breathes. What insanely rich nature! To think that it's only a few hundred kilometres from Atacama! 🤗
…And I bow to your courage of getting that, erm, digestive fruit. I wouldn't have dared for fear of requiring some big-leafed herbs from the wayside, even if only for their big leaves. 🥺
Again one of the most outstanding stays on your best-of-list, right? Not for luxury, but for authenticity! 🤩
    Loved it! 🥰

Norely has a great spanish, i can't place where she learned it because she has a very neutral accent, most europeans than know spanish talk with a heavy accent from Spain, she doesn't, her spanish is nearly as good as her english IMO.

When you think of these countries or speak to people about them, they are almost dismissed as third world countries or backward. But when I watch your videos it’s totally different, it reminds me how humans can be, everyone is so friendly and wants to help and don’t mind putting themselves out, going above and beyond. I almost forgot that humans can be like this, it’s the simplest things. Really love this aspect of your videos the interaction.

If there were a double thumbs up icon I would click on it. You, and now we, are lucky to be at this special place at this singular point in time. So Antonio owns a waterfalls and acres of land around it apparently and is kind enough to share it. I grew up on a lake my parents owned and as I was growing up I took it for granted. But now I understand how unusual it was and is for someone to own an entire lake. Antonio and I are lucky men. I think everyone who watched this was lucky.

I do hope these kind indigenous people can stay there and keep what really is THEIR land as what it is - their property.
Once something of material value found there can cause problems just like in many parts of Asia or South America. Lawyers come and claim the land (where are your documents?). Illegals come, assassins, even religious sects...all the successful techniques to bring 'civilisation'.
Thanks for sharing with us, you are the perfect ambassador, and I am happy and honoured to be member of the itchy boots family. Cheers Michael
