Good timing on releasing part 2. I needed something to cheer me up after Artemis 1 was scrubbed again. :)

Damn, I just HATE it when it's short. Trimming is so much easier than adding. Oh well. Looks like you got it under control. Enjoy your videos, Ian, and am looking forward to Part 3. 73! de WX0V

      It’s a pain isn’t it?! Nearly there Scott! 👍🏻

Good video again! I was wondering if you have a dipole or something in place so you can do some A-B on air tests to see if the little beam really does help? I saw this, or a similar design, many years ago but did not play with it because I thought the 2-element yagi with reduced size elements might end up performing about the same as a full size dipole. I hope you prove me wrong! 🙂

hi i got my license 2021 and before i got my license i was on 11m but what i wanted to ask you is i have a 10 11m 3 elerment beam and i have still got my rotator but i was wondering if i could make some sort of coils to fit inbetween the elerments so i could use it on 20m but i don,t know were to start.. what i was gunna do is just make the resonant length

Hi. I think it would be better to keep that for 10m (a band which is becoming more active as the solar cycle progresses) and think about a new-build for 20m? Otherwise, you’d have to break the aluminium elements to insulate and rejoin with coils, a specification of which you’d have to experiment with. And make all this robust etc etc. Looks tricky to me. Good luck with whatever you try 👍🏻
