@@Press_X_to_doubt The issue is that the abilities chosen somehow managed to be tactically redundant despite also each needing very different positioning and movement to use effectively. Hellas wants to sit back and bombard its enemy with a hail of rocket punches, while Argyrem and Nilokerias both want to get close and evaporate/remove from existence both the enemy and any ordinance sent their way. Dioscuria only has two Monomolecule Fists to Hellas's eight, and once they're both fired it's lost its ability to use its beam katana, and is reduced to trying to make lumbering kick attacks if it wants to use the dimensional barrier effectively, which isn't a good idea if you're vulnerable to falling over. And it has to drop the barrier to launch or dock its fists or ignite its beam katana, meaning that it gives up a major tactical advantage whenever it tries to actually use its multiple abilities in concert. I mean, imagine if instead it just had the Dimension Barrier and the laser emitters of Solas in the weak spot. Or it might not even need that, if the barrier only works one way. Even if it did have to drop the barrier to fire, it could do so from much further away so it wouldn't be obvious where the receiver port is. Maybe the monomolecule fists could have plasma swords around/serving as the thrusters to deflect bullets hitting the back-end. Hell, Dimension Barrier already requires drones to see-why not add the Laser Funnels as the long-range option.

Not to mention a lot of the Martian mechs are mechs for the sake of being mechs. Some of their powers are more suited to be ordinance or beacons like all those mechs that can't move when using their power.
@@NXTangl It's not quite the same, but there's a certain mech in a game whose gimmick is the possession of three different weapons: An assault rifle, two monstruous shotguns, and two shoulder rocket launchers. Now, the true issue is that the mech's main ability is to use all of them for a short period, but since each weapon differs in effective range and projectile speed you can't really use all of them at the same time per say, even if you glue to the enemy, and the lack of agility means it's pretty much a glorified turret.

In The 1st season, mars mechs aren't strong, they are unique, the same goes to the 2nd season, they are made based on the pilot preference, Saazbaum is a cautious man, he added 3 more abilities on his mech after Heaven's fall and changed his weakness after his fight with inaho, his original design is a transformable mech that has mech and fighter mode (in Saazbaum flash back). If you say tanks are more use full than the 2nd season mechs, you are totally wrong. There's a Optical camouflage one and then the thunder lord one, the most deadly one is the indefinitely replication Mecha that can replicate until the enemy is totally destroyed or all of them are destroyed at the same time.

Spec wise, Saazbaum's machine is a formidable one. It's just that Inaho is skilled and lucky enough to survive and beat him.

こいつ弱いな……と思って調べて見たら、そもそもディオスクリア本体が戦闘向きの能力をしてないことを初めて知った。
アルドノアの能力を搭乗者に翻訳可能にする能力じゃあなぁ……地球との戦いでそこまで苦戦しないって慢心があったにしても、実験用は実験用、戦闘用は戦闘用として別の機体を作っても良かったんじゃないかと思ってしまう。下手すると、本編十五年前に運用した機体とほとんど変わってない可能性もあるし……

もともとコイツ純戦闘用じゃないんですよ
本体の固有機能はアルドノアドライブの翻訳で
複数のアルドノアドライブの機能を一遍に試験する為の機体だったのです
意味のわからないアルドノアドライブを繋いで暴走破損しては安全なもので継ぎ接ぎ修理を繰り返し
その果ての結果が合体ロボという姿
ロマン兵器だからこそ弱点持ちは良いね
@@user-pn6up5yw8x あと、元々他のアルドノアが錆び付いてた状態なので、ディオスクリアで起動させてちゃんと稼働できるようにしてたんだよな、じゃなければ火星から発掘されたアルドノアドライブを扱えなかったと言う自体になってた(要はディオスクリアの機能で強引に再稼働させて、使える様にした)
今までの帝国カタフラクトの能力を集めた機体でもイナホ君には勝てなかった。いくら機体性能が優れていても乗ってる人間がアルドノアに頼りきった愚か者ではね?「彼を知らず、己を知らざれば戦うごとに必ず敗る」という戦いに対する謙虚さが火星騎士にはかけらもない。
こいつ2クールでも同じ機体でバリアの隙間の位置を変えただけで勝ったつもりでいたからね。

きっと装甲を厚くするとか、複数の能力の搭載で対処しようとはしてるかもしれないけど、
一番分かりやすい、改良しなかった理由として、今まで攻略されることがなかったからというのがありそう。
それに改良は難しそう。
良くも悪くも単調すぎる能力ばかりなんだよなぁ
アンテナ部分を防御用ドローンとかで守ったりとか出来たはずやけど、脳筋騎士相手は不要だったから考慮すらされてなさそう

At start of story. Mar mecha look very strong but when come to SS2 they suck/ their castle and tank are look more useful than their owner mech.

抜刀だけしてた方が強い説
索敵ドローン無しでバリアの隙間を光学センサー(視界確保)にして、両手抜刀とかヤバそう
本編だと不意打ちでしかダメージ与えられず、ステージギミックで倒したし、シンプル故に最強やね

飛ばしてる時はバリア張らなくても十分なので、それで敵の体制をくずしたりしてから、バリア張って突っ込むとか
