Thank C.Young I have bought your product recommendations for dry skin after listening to you I have seen my skin get better than listening what’s popular on tik tok for dry skin.
Thank you for your knowledgeable reviews & for naming brands…& doing it all in English! I learn so much from you. Also love the peeks of local Korean places. Please do a GRWM video on concealer/foundation & blush/lip colors and brands. My coloring is similar to yours. Would love to know what makeup colors you use.
Hello love💕 You’re from Canada goose weather lol Then probably so cold and dry for winter. Try Illiyoon repair version next time. Will be great for freezing winter!
10:59 I love going to the mountains too! I’ve grown going to a few here in Brazil’s Southeast! Some of the things I love the most about mountains is this fog view 10:48 . Ik many people prefer these places during warmer times, so they can have a better view, but I find the fog so pretty! 😂❤
Thanks to you CYoung I have cosrx peptide booster serum on my radar (Black Friday sales here I come!). For me, my holy grail for my dry cheeks, eye area and neck is numbuzin no.5 cream. I have mature combo skin. My T-zone holy grail is Beauty of Joseon dynasty cream. I’m about to start my S nature squalane cream. So excited!
Your video is so timely and useful! I have a collection of moisturizers - I switch between them for different seasons. I like Aestura a lot but so expensive! I used BoJ before and switched to Nature Republic when I finished, but still sitting on the fence with NR. Now I will need to reconsider my choices after your informative video 😅. Thank you for sharing. Have a good weekend!
Thank you CYoung for this video! I hv dry, thin & damage skin barrier. I bought Dr. Althea 345 cream after seeing so many reviews. However, like you said, it didn't work for me at all but 147 cream works better for me. I also like the Corsx Peptide Serum. So far so good. ❤
Aestrua is my new go to, even though its a bit expensive. The SoonJung's older formula was my favorite before, it was so nourishing for me! The new formula is just too light.
Omg your timing is perfect ! Im 15 and I have normal/oily in t zone skin type and I'm running out of my moisturizer so that's such a perfect video ! I wanted to buy a torriden moisturizer and I think I'm going to stick to it and buy it ! My skin really likes those watery products in summer and winter too and it also comes with a lot of product and as a teenager I don't have tons to spend on my skincare
Great video, thank you💕💕💕it is very overwhelming to choose a moisturizer for my dry skin. I currently use the S nature cream for day and Cosrx hyaluronic intensive cream at night.
Hello love💕 I tried that brand seven~eight years ago because its sheet masks were famous. But compared to new ones that come out these days, the sheet is too thin and the essence is too much to put on. Rather, Mediheal or Mixsoon sheet masks are much easier and better to use.
I love your video's so muchh!! Thanks for this video it helped me to find a perfect moisturizer 🫶🏻!! and can you recommend some products for soothing skin texture ( i have dry sensitive skin ) ❤!!
I’m not her obviously lol, but I just got it and am trying it out. Haven’t used it long enough for a proper analysis, but I like it so far. My skin type is dry/combo and sensitive. I had ruined my skin barrier trying another product, and this helped calm it down and heal quickly. Very soothing, rich, and absorbs quickly. She’s THICC. There’s a little sticky texture after applying, but if you use it as a night cream, the stickiness is gone by the morning. Skin feels happy, soft, hydrated, and improved texture. My dehydrated, desert cheeks feel sufficiently hydrated and that’s hard to find with many products unless you’re layering multiple layers of multiple things. One layer of a small dollop sized amount of her gets the entire face and neck done, no need for a second layer. My T zone doesn’t get more oily with this either. I haven’t tried this during the day as I think it’s a bit too rich, and it would probably not pair well with makeup. However, as a night cream, she’s a yes for me so far. Good for mature and sensitive skin. No irritation, especially around delicate eye contour. I’m liking the probio cica line more than their other lines. I’ve been able to skip my fermented essence step since it also has ferments. The only downside is it comes in a jar, but they give you a little spatula. Hope this helps.
I used cosrx snail Essence and it was one of the best thing I've ever found for my damaged skin barrier. Now I'm using Jumiso snail essence and it's even better with the edition of peptides. I want to use only vegan products but I have no choice my skin is super duper sensitive there're only a few choice of products my skin can tolerate. 😅 My skin also loves cosrx propolis toner and pure fit cica toner and serum. Oh.. And celimax dual barrier cream is aslo a hidden gem. I'm sad that it's so underrated.
My fav moisturiser is by Sukin, I've used RoundLab Korean moisturiser, it is good but not as good as my Sukin moisturiser, and I've used the Sukin moisturiser for 10 years, works so well for my skin.
Thank you for your knowledge. I was debating whether I should buy Purito and/or 345 during this Black Friday deals. Now, I get to save money 😊. I am trying not to spend more than I need 😅.
your videos are really helpful, thank you so much ✨💕 what about i'm from's licorice calming cream? i bought it online because it was on sale but it didn't come yet, i'm curious about your opinion
If you have very dry skin and if I’ll pick one, absolutely Illiyoon Repair Lotion! For body and face If you're going to use it only on your face, it's similar to Aestura and Mixsoon, but I use Mixsoon more often because it's soft to apply.
Hello CYoung! Have you try P Calm Ato cream? I have Aestura and P Calm and i find them both really similar! Anyway I enjoy your channel so very much and thank you!♥
I love the snail cream by Cosrx (a lot more than the essence)! The results are very satisfying when I have a lil bit more of an irritated skin (I believe bc of the vitamin b5 and, of course, the mucin)! Very simple, but effective (a you can have it in the jar or tube version)!
Yes I find it incredibly soothing and makes my skin feel really soft and velvety. However I do agree with CYoung that it’s not particularly moisturising. I often use it, then layer a different moisturiser after about 1/2 hour.
I think for the acne relief part for numbuzin and dr.g's moisturizers depends on each person. Personally dr.g's one calmed my acne so much and actually the moisture lasts pretty much the entire day in my skin (I'm a combo to oily so maybe that's why). Numbuzin's one also calmed my skin but not as much as dr.g's, the redness didn't disappear that much. But I did see people with drier skin types saying the same you did about the acne thing though. But still my top1 moisturizer is the purito's oat-in calming gel cream. Totally agree with the snail cream and everything else. I don't remember if you already did it but can you make a review of skin1004's products? Specially the ampoules (the tea-trica, the brightening and probio ones), I'm really curious about your opinions on those. (sorry for the long text)
Hello. I was just trying to buy a new cream. Thank you so much ❤️. I would love to see a toner reviev that does not have any alcohol. I Just bought one and it stings my eyes.
Have you tried the Purito Seoul Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer? I feel like this is a very underrated moisturizer thats nice for night/winter time ? Very repairing
Hi dear! I love your videos because i have similar skin like you dry and mature. I agree with Cosrx snail mucin one, only for my teenager kids. But i love their Hyaluronic Acid one, it does wonders for my skin,so hydrating and glowy. I am thinking to buy the Aestura 365 ,i hope it is not too thick for me,i don't do well with thick creams.
Hi. Which face cream do you recommend for the driest of dry dehydrated skin? Dry dehydrated menopausal skin during winters. From the mountains. Also pls do one video for anti aging creams and products. For menopausal women. For different seasons. Thanks. I also didn’t like the hyped illion cream so I think our skins are similar.
Only thing that works and does anything at all for my skin and keeps it nice and helps with extreme dry eczema all that is tatcha dewy cream lol which is annoying because it’s so expensive it’s ridiculous
@ I’ve heard so much about the cream but I’m hesitant to splurge and what if it doesn’t work? Is it really that good? I don’t mind buying If it really works?
hello! I wanted to ask for advice because my skin is usually combination (I live in Southeast asia) but whenever I go to Korea (I visit my parents there), my skin gets really tight after cleansing and I get bumps all over my face. I also get very bad redness on both of my cheeks. Do you think it'll be okay to go for a thicker moisturizer?
Hello love!💕 If it's only when you come to Korea, it's because your skin is too dry to endure the Korean weather. At least put on dry skin moisturizer for night. Are you doing double cleansing? I recommend you stop because it's a factor that makes your skin tight. Hope it helps😍
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 it was really informative ☺️ The Mixsoon bean cream is No.1 in my wish list. What do you think about Pyunkang Yul Intensive Repair Cream? This is really my Holy Grail for the dry reactive redness prone sensitive skin 🥰 it keeps my skin nourished and moisturized for 24 hours and calms down any irritation 🥇🏆 Plus to all the design of the packaging is stunning and it motivates me to use it even more often 🤩🌌
My problem with Korean moisturizers is a lot of them don't hydrate very well and some are actually drying. That's been my experience. You can't trust the marketing for these products because the K-beauty industry is super under-regulated. You have to do a lot of experimentation to figure out what actually works.
Thank you so much for this video!! So informative. I'm curious if you tried Hada Labo Tokyo products? (The ones for western market with cherry blossom on it) I just ordered basically all of their range because of a huge sale where I live but I would've loved more insights into them until I try it! Especially their lotion and moisturizing cream. I know their gokujyun premium lotion is so popular and heard it's nice but couldn't find a place to get it. Also if you ever used Khiel's moisturizing cream - that's my holy grail as it settles into skin SO FAST and is lightweight but moisturizing but I'd love to know about a cheaper korean product similar to it.
8:48 I thought Numbuzin would be a great option for my normal skin, during Summer, bc I get slightly reactive when my skin’s temperature increases, therefore, I gain inflamed acne. Thank you for your honest opinion, as always! Wish I could find a sample size of this to try. I mainly wanted bc of this effect I thought it would have on inflamed acne… Across the seasons, it’s as little hard to find products for normal skin (bc things are either too heavy or too light), so I’m always trying very opposite products in hopes of finding some nice in betweens!
Hello CYoung! Thank you for this video. I am looking for a moisturizer. From the products you have mentioned for dry skin, which one is your pick - Illiyoon Repair, Aestura cream or the Mixsoon bean cream? Thank you!
If you have very dry skin and if I’ll pick one, absolutely Illiyoon Repair Lotion! For body and face If you're going to use it only on your face, it's similar to Aestura and Mixsoon, but I use Mixsoon more often because it's soft to apply.
I have sensitive hormonal acne prone skin with red post acne marks and little open pores. Please recommend me any moisture. I’m also using Tretinoin. Please recommend two moisture with Tretinoin and normal use
Hey for dry senstive skin with damaged skin barrier my skin hates oil contain products also at this time i need fungal acne safe products / 1 or two fungal acne proudcts doesn't iriritate my skin. I can't find good moisturizer my skin is getting dry as winter coming 😭 pls help ??
The dr.althea 345 cream is too light for me sadly. My skin is literally flaking in some areas, i just bought the round lab 1025 dokodo cream, i hope it helps to stop me from flaking😂
@ oh no😭😭My order hasn’t gotten processed yet so i should cancel it now, thank you so much😊 What moisturizer do you recommend for very dry, acne prone, sensitive skin with a little eczema (got it from eating dairy, im allergic😂)
Have you tried some of the creams under the cicaplast range, by La Roche? Or a face cream by Bepanthen? Under Korean brands, I hear lots of people talking about the creams by the Aestura brand! Cerave and Cetaphil have some good options for very dry skin too! Also, you have to be consistent with sunscreen (wtv you like and can afford to repurchase frequently). If you want something more intermediate, try adding a retinoid for your night routine (start slowly and with lower percentages) and an antioxidant to your morning routine (vitamin c, kojic acid, green tea or anything else that better fits your skin)!!
Hello,All the products that mentioned here is not (MF not safe) fungal acne safe, but for acne it depends on ur skin type, skin concern, lifestyle and where do u live (humidity or cold place).. But from my experience etude house soon jung 2x barrier intensive cream works well on my combination, acne and fungal acne prone skin.. And i live in Indonesia so I usually use it at only at night time cz it heal my skin barrier and help with my acne too, and for the morning i use more lightweight moisturiser like water gel/cream like texture.. *Simple skin care routine its the key. (cleansing, moisturise and sunscreen).*
And if you're not sure what skin type or skin concerns do u have, you'll have to see dermatologist for help your (MF) Fungal Acne and do some research and read the ingredients that triggers your fungal acne before buying a product.. If u have oily skin Benton aloe propolis gel,Round Lab Mugwort moisturiser or Iunik centella calming gel cream fungal acne safe..
For toners i Recommend etude house soon jung toner or 1025 dokdo toner.. Its simple no harsh ingredients and fungal acne safe.. And for exfoliating toner u can go with Cosrx ABC daily toner or Somebymi AHA BHA PHA toner.. But remember just use it 2x a week.. Dont forgot sunscreen its important
Im not a doctor, im just someone who study about skincare and health related, i hope it helps😊 *I Recommend See Dermatologist to help your Malassezia folliculitis (Fungal Ance) and other your skin concerns*
ничего личного но про то что в корее предпочитают веган косметику немного смешно читать..ради чего это? ради защиты животных? а потом корейцы идут и выковыривают живых морских ежей ложкой, гребешков или осьминожек...

This is why your skin looks like *hit.

I mainly wanted bc of this effect I thought it would have on inflamed acne… Across the seasons, it’s as little hard to find products for normal skin (bc things are either too heavy or too light), so I’m always trying very opposite products in hopes of finding some nice in betweens!
What do you think about Some By Mi Propolis B5 Glow Barrier?
Numbuzin has the panthetonic cream also in tube packaging
I checked it out, but not in KR at least🥹😭
hey, just wanted to point out that squalene is different than squalane. the s. nature uses squalane, not squalene, as listed in the captions.
Oh no! You’re right. Thank you for letting me know! I’ll definitely double-check for any more mistakes in the future!💕👍
For body and face
If you're going to use it only on your face, it's similar to Aestura and Mixsoon, but I use Mixsoon more often because it's soft to apply.
I have sensitive hormonal acne prone skin with red post acne marks and little open pores. Please recommend me any moisture.
I’m also using Tretinoin.
Please recommend two moisture with Tretinoin and normal use
how about beauty of joseon moisturizer ?
Hey for dry senstive skin with damaged skin barrier my skin hates oil contain products also at this time i need fungal acne safe products / 1 or two fungal acne proudcts doesn't iriritate my skin. I can't find good moisturizer my skin is getting dry as winter coming 😭 pls help ??
Use dr. G. It’s light and still moisturizing.
@Hanna2801 and purito b 5 panthenol cream??
@@sakshisingh5582 I don’t know about that. But you should use B5 and ceramide serum to strengthen skin barrier.
@@Hanna2801 can i layer with it any ceramide based thick moisturizer?? Because it kinda light for me?? Pls reply
@@sakshisingh5582 it’s up to your skin condition. If thick cream block your pores, change to lighter one, but use serums to moisturize instead
I tried illiyoon cream but it's too heavy for me, next time I'll try the lotion type
And can you recommend me Vitamin c serum please?
ILLIYOON has gel version which is lighter
Hey i have oily skin and have acne mark and bumps on my face which one do u think will suit my face???
I am from Bangladesh so quite pollluted
The dr.althea 345 cream is too light for me sadly. My skin is literally flaking in some areas, i just bought the round lab 1025 dokodo cream, i hope it helps to stop me from flaking😂
Hello love💕 Oh no😭 Roundlab is also for oily skin product. Check out my dry skin moisturizer and those will be better for flaky skin!
@ oh no😭😭My order hasn’t gotten processed yet so i should cancel it now, thank you so much😊 What moisturizer do you recommend for very dry, acne prone, sensitive skin with a little eczema (got it from eating dairy, im allergic😂)
Nooooo they processed my order, i’ll have to return it then😭
😭 Save it for summer! For extra dry skin, my holy grail is Illiyoon repair lotion. They have two versions so check my description box!
@ Thank you so much, i will check it out!😊

Noted 📝 love💕
Of course I see this the day after I just placed an order for one lol
Dear CYoung , looking for something to lighten and whiten the skin
Are you related to Olive Young?
I don't know which was the best for dry skin if ur trying to achieve glass skin very glassy skin 😊
Iam older so I need the strongest one for very glassy skin please help me 😊 😢❤
Have you tried some of the creams under the cicaplast range, by La Roche? Or a face cream by Bepanthen? Under Korean brands, I hear lots of people talking about the creams by the Aestura brand! Cerave and Cetaphil have some good options for very dry skin too!
Also, you have to be consistent with sunscreen (wtv you like and can afford to repurchase frequently). If you want something more intermediate, try adding a retinoid for your night routine (start slowly and with lower percentages) and an antioxidant to your morning routine (vitamin c, kojic acid, green tea or anything else that better fits your skin)!!
Hello love❤️ The strongest one is Illiyoon repair lotion. I put the exact name and link at the description box so please check that out😍
Omg 😳 Muito obrigado. És óptimo!💕🫶🏼
why are these moistrurizers not fungal acne safe? can it really cause acne or worsen your acnes?
Im not a doctor, im just someone who study about skincare and health related, i hope it helps😊
*I Recommend See Dermatologist to help your Malassezia folliculitis (Fungal Ance) and other your skin concerns*

Ilysm why u have to mention russia😭
ничего личного но про то что в корее предпочитают веган косметику немного смешно читать..ради чего это? ради защиты животных? а потом корейцы идут и выковыривают живых морских ежей ложкой, гребешков или осьминожек...
Cosrx remind me of the anua toner. NOTHING
😂Agree!🙌🏼🫶🏼
stop doing scam
